Hi all,

Sorry for the ot cross post but my husband just returned from a union convention

in Pittsburgh and he brought home an American made " corn plastic " mug. Any

plastic experts out there that can tell me if this is safe? It's hard like

glass, and the bottom says " natural corn product " manufactured by Quickpoint.

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too. I have also seen water bottles in the store made of

100% plants. Are these safe?

Approximately 90% of the corn produced in this Country is GMO. That fact alone

would tell me that the product is trash and pesticides/herbicides could leach

into the fluids you put in the mug. They are coming up with many ingenious ways

to corn. It is a shame that the only one profiting from this is Monsanto...

Blessings, Meo
