Guest guest
Hi there, There are a few posts in the archives about eye colour changes - see message #225660 and the responses that follow. No question that mercury affects the eyes. I've had issues with vision related to mercury that have improved with chelation, but I don't know or how chelation would affect the eye colour. Maybe you could flag this post for Andy and hopefully he'll give some insight. The DMSA dose could be too high for her to start with. If it were me, I would lower the dose to below the 1/8th to see if the night-wakings stop. HTH, > > Hi All, > > I searched onibasu but could not find anything specific on eye color > changing. The night waking, I would try increasing the yeast protocol and see if that helps. Dana
Guest guest
My two boys eyes change colors. We all have brown eyes, but theirs is a greenish, bluish brown when they are sick or not feeling well (or upset or hungry). I can definitely tell a lot about how they feel when their eyes change color. It is really odd to me and no doctor has the answer. I would love to hear more on this. (Both my husband and I have brown eyes. I attributed my 6 year-old's eye color change to his mosaicism or having two different cell lines in his body, but my 3 year-old was tested, over 2,000 cells, and no mosaicism was found in the blood. We wonder where the greenish color comes from and why only when they are sick, hungry, or upset. I have heard that parasites cause green eyes, but no doctor has prescribed anything for that....I wonder if I should ask?) > > > > Hi All, > > > > I searched onibasu but could not find anything specific on eye color > > changing. Guest guest
From an Iridology point of view - the brown would indicate that the liver is working hard and might be struggling a bit as it tries to handle the toxin load. That is also consistant with the night waking. I would be doing a lot of liver and kidney support. Guest guest
? The brown in my kids eyes is from genetics (both parents have brown eyes). I was more worried about the changing to green with some bluish hue. > > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > I searched onibasu but could not find anything specific on eye color > > > changing. Guest guest
Does DMSA stir up yeast? Are you giving anything to control yeast? Yeast would be my first thought about the night wakings. Have you added any new supplements recently? Might be something to look into as well. Have no idea about the eye color change! > > > > Hi All, > > > > I searched onibasu but could not find anything specific on eye color > > changing. Guest guest
I presume she has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings? Guest guest
Maybe it has something to do with inflammation having a lightening affect on the iris fibres. My daughter has blue eyes and I can tell when she is sick because her eyecolour lightens a lot. Inflammation causes a whiteness in the iris fibres and it is easiest to see the effect in a blue eye. The whiteness from inflammation is sometimes labelled as acidity - and alkalising can be helpful when there is inflammation. Guest guest
I've been on the chelating lists for almost a decade now and we've had a number of people through the years talk about their children's eye color changing as they went through the process. It was seen as a positive thing, for the most part. Barb [ ] Re: eye color changing and night wakings with start of chelation Does DMSA stir up yeast? Are you giving anything to control yeast? Guest guest
Many blue-eyed babies who produce pigment after birth, have a change in eye colour between ages 1-3, but it can happen later. With blue eyes, there is no pigment in the outer layer of the iris - it's clear, without the outer layer of pigmentation that produces brown eyes. As the child develops, melanocytes slowly begin to produce melanin. Blonde children become brunette adults, and so on. Chemical reactions or hormonal changes can cause both demelanization or melanization. I'd suggest, that if a child begins to produce more melanin, that it's a positive/healthy sign. Melanin is protective! > > > > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > > > I searched onibasu but could not find anything specific on eye color > > > > changing. Guest guest
my little one had green eyes, that had entire lines of brown dots in them, and a yellow haze over his whole iris that made it look brown. I thought he had hazel eyes. we saw an iridologist who said the brown dots and yellow haze were caused by liver issues and illness.  we chelated him (among other treatments) and after seeing the original post of this thread I went and checked his eyes, the brown dots are gone, as is the yellow haze. I recall that his eyes did turn steely grey/blue (dark) at times during the chelation.  They cleared to a brilliant and sparkling green. when he gets sick they do turn the dark steely grey/blue color.  my other son, his eyes went from pale blue (with small black dots) and milky whites to brilliant blue and dazzling whites. his eyes do get pale/milky when he is ill.  From: Simone Faubert <sage123@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re: eye color changing and night wakings with start of chelation Date: Friday, May 14, 2010, 12:23 PM  I myself had my eye colour change. It was not related to chelation but it was related when i went from poor health to insanely healthy and fit. All my life I had blue grey eyes when I lost a lot of weight and became a marathon runner my eyes turned crystal green. After about 5 years my health began to decline and my eyes went back to their original blue / grey without a hint of green. Go figure. Just thought I would share that for me it was a great improvement in health. S

Guest guest
But the thread is about chelation... Guest guest
Yes.. I think the two were unrelated as when I increased the yeast protocol.. the night waking got better.. but the eyes I think are due to her liver. Thanks!
