Could be the dose is too high. Id try lowering the dose and see if that helps.

We've given up to 20mgs a day with no issues.

Maybe try spreading it out through the day in smaller amounts.

Or maybe take a couple days off and try again to make sure it is the biotin.

My son takes 40 mg a day, but we started at a much lower dose and worked up to

40. For a long time we couldnt get past 1 mg without making his constipation

worse. Once we got that solved, it only took a month or so to get to 40 mg with

no issues at all.

Woah! A month, wow....that's amazing. It has been remarkably powerful around

here.

I cut my little girl's dose to 2.5 mg's three times a day, but she still vomited

this morning. HOWEVER - she is now SLEEPING. which she NEVER did without a

massive fight.

I told my husband that biomedical treatment is the difference between HURT and

HARM - it might hurt in the short term but it is clearly not harming them,

especially since my girls are finally sleeping through the night without waking

(last three days).

My little boy had three episodes of diarrhea in his diaper (he is 5 and wears a

diaper to bed). MY other little girl had constipation also.

So....thank you for your input. I will lower the dose, but I have to say, I am

very, very impressed with this supplement. The price is right and it is

incredibly effective. We have been battling yeast for a year and a half and

nothing has been so powerful as this to date.

Thanks

That does sounds like it could be yeast die off. Working up slowly is a good

idea. Since you have been fighting yeast for so long, have you considered other

natural yeast fighters like GSE? You will probably get the same reaction until

you get the levels of yeast down more. So start slow with anything that will

hit the yeast hard, and GSE does that very effectively for us. We had to start

at one drop (10mg) and worked up to 165mg per dose, three times a day.

Have you considered heavy metals? There is an imbalance at the root of yeast

and bacteria overgrowth, often heavy metals is the cause. You could do a

Doctor's Data Hair test to confirm it, but be sure to read about applying Andy

Cutler's " Counting Rules " to the test results, because they are not cut and dry.

What you see is not what you get with a hair test. He has a few books that

explain it VERY well too.

Thanks . We are at round 6 with the AC chelation. Doing well, except

yeast became problematic yet again, thus the addition of the biotin.

My son needs lots of biotin for his oxalate issues, that its helping with yeast

is a nice bonus! It is pretty powerful stuff, great for yeast, also vital in

fatty acid metabolism, glucose metabolism and mitochondrial function.

Powerful, indeed. I put 2.5 mgs in my daughter's kefir before bed...woke up in

the morning and the kefir was cheese! LOL

I started with 300 mcg, but 600 would work too. Depending on the age of your

child, Id start small and work up.

BTW, I meant the kefir that was still left in her sippy cup....

not sure if that came across very clearly in my last post. LOL
