Guest guest
My son did this for a short period when he was 4. At the time, we were on a supplement holiday (vacationing in another state). The incidence went way down when we put him back on his supps, but I don't know what was responsible. Also, at the same time, he had a huge parasite infestation (pinworms). It was unknown at the time the tensing episodes were bad. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, either. They went away within 6 months. I am wondering if the parasite treatment did it? We were also chelating. Sorry I cannot be of more help. I just wanted to throw out possibilities. Well, the stretching of one side of the mouth was B2 deficiency for my son. I don't recall ever seeing the other behavior you list, so not sure what that is. If you suspect yeast, you can try increasing the yeast protocol and see if that helps. Dana
Guest guest
> Did you give the B2 with other B vitamins or separately? I have given B2 as part of a multi [b50] and during certain protocols I have had to give B2 separately. Dana
Guest guest
> b2 is his multiy vitamin, do u think the face clinching is vitamin or yeast > promblem ? ty How much B2 is in the multi? There were times when my son needed 600mg B2 each day, separate from his multi B50. If you suspect yeast, try increasing the yeast protocol, see if that helps. Guest guest
The reason I ask is that my son has been doing this for some time now. Laying his head back and stretching his mouth open like a lion. He takes sublingual B complex about 3 days a week. I had to give separate B2, I started with 100mg and worked up until the problem was resolved. Watch for yeast overgrowth, B2 does tend to increase yeast. Guest guest
According to our local pharmacist, you should still be able to take vitamin B with the Risperdal. Have you heard anything to the contrary? That is my first question now about everything. Have you heard anything to the contrary? That is my first question now about everything. I have not done a lot of research on Risperdal. Try one of these sites, or google it http://www.drugs.com/ http://www.rxlist.com/drugs/alpha_a.htm Dana
