OH YEAH!! YUMMY

We LOVE their Purely Decadent Mint Chip. I love regular ice cream, and

haven't been big on the soy/rice/coconut milk ice creams until I tasted that

one.

I make my own ice cream with Vance's Dairy Free. So if interested, I can post

the recipe. You need an ice cream maker of course too.

Ditto on the others -- So Delicious brand made with coconut milk, free of what

you listed. They do have some flavors that contain soy but I believe it's

called " Soy " delicious. Some others have gluten as well (cookie dough flavor).

We stick with chocolate and vanilla in the pint. I recently found that they

have a chocolate popsicle style bar. My daughter really likes it and it isn't

as messy as when she tries to eat a regular popsicle (she's 4).

We also do sorbet a lot. It has the same texture as ice cream and not a lot of

the extra stuff (cargeenan and stuff I don't know too much about lol) that the

coconut milk brand has.

You can also make it fun by getting an ice cream maker and making both yourself.

We haven't tried to make coconut milk ice cream ourselves but I made regular ice

cream in it with heavy cream, sugar and vanilla and I know So delicious sells

heavy cream at whole foods so we may try it one day. Sorbet is also easy to

make at home as well. I make so much homemade stuff though it's nice to be able

to just buy something already made.

Also shop around for the coconut milk ice cream. I've bought the pints for as

low as $2.99 at Kroger and as high as $5.99 at Whole foods.

OH! Do I have the Ice Cream for YOU!!

I couldn't believe how good this was...they don't try to compensate for anything

by adding too much sugar and the texture/taste is decadent. Such a welcome

surprise for us...Hope you and your son enjoy :).
