Chelation through natural sweating must be good, but do infrared sauna impose

dangers? I realize that I probably should have bought an infrared sauna for the

winter to increase my son's sweating. Now that the winter is almost over, would

it be beneficial to buy one? Which brands are recommended if infrared sauna is

indeed a safe & effective detoxification method?

Thank you!

Yes.

IR heats the body unevenly and can be dangerous. Normal sauna is much better.

Hi ,

Thanks very much for your advice. I'll do the research as you suggested.

Wondering if people here do take kids to normal sauna for detoxificatin? Many

years ago I accidentally stepped into a sauna room for less than a minute, and

almost felt suffocated. Anybody in this group seeing improvements on your kid

with normal sauna detoxification?

Thanks,

Jingwen

There is an infrared mat from Cerajem (the Ceramat) that may be good for you.

They are inexpensive and can be used while sleeping.

Check out www.generationrescue.com I know McCarthy recommends one.

The TurboSonic is great - www.turbosonicusa.com - we have the Ovation home unit.

I believe that in the past, andy cutler has spoken out about the health

downsides of far infared saunas. If memory serves, he was concerned about the

off-gassing of unhealthy materials (glues, I think) used. I know that I looked

into a " heavenly heat " sauna which does not use chemicals & which andy gave a

thumbs up. You may wish to do further research in the archives, as you sure

don't want to poison your child further. HTH,
