Guest guest
Indiana..south of central part of state... my town had a county wide mandate to school children to get all their shots or not be allowed in school... there were such lines at created clinics that it's still going on today... they Had to let kids in school because of wait time/lines not being resolved, still continues today. A little farther south in Indiana, my grand daughter was mandated to get the vaccine for menengitis..or else.. for Their county.. same problems. She has a little affectation not diagnosed, her brother has autism, is home schooled, but has allergies to eggs, amongst other stuff in vaccines. Grand daughter is now 13. don't think Mother even considered fighting the mandate... When I was in school in the early 40's, all the nation was mandated to get smallpox vaccines. I was in K or 1st. grade. My sibs, 7 to 8 yrs older, were also required to get them. I may be mistaken but I think adults were also required to get them. My Mother didn't have to because she had Dr. records of having had Cow pox, from which smallpox vaccine was made and confers immunity. In High school, we were all mandated to have TB tests and follow ups for any positive results. In the event of such deadly diseases, so easily spread, it becomes a National Mandate as protection for all it's citizens. Though I don't feel that flu fits in these days...there have been epidemics of flu's that killed many. I don't like government mandated vaccines either but... can also see the resoning behind it, even though that may be faulty reasoning... due to not having or accepting the full scope of information about the disease. It appears it will be done. Regards, grandma peg ======================================================
