Nystatin anti-fungal & diarrhea?

My son has been taking Nystatin for a couple of weeks for yeast. This is the

first time he has ever one of his tests show he had a yeast issue. He is having

really bad diarrhea 2 or 3 times a day now. Is that a sign that the medicine is

working?
