Lysine put my cholesterol up too much, be aware this is a possibility and check

levels if you take it.

Couple of quick questions...really just need some confirmation.

Son's warts on hands have disappeared by using lysine. Do I continue on this

dose until he shows symptoms of it bothering (foot problems), or stop and see if

it returns? Same with adult herpetic outbreaks? I have had lingering strep

throat...OLE at high doses for how long? How do I know when its gone? Thanks in

advance!

I take lysine myself for roseca. I have never had any foot problems. One

thing is that lysine can kick up yeast for sure!!

Hi,

What kinds of foot problems have people observed with lysine? What

should I watch for? (I apologize -- suspect this was addressed earlier

in this thread and I missed it.)

I kept the lysine. One herpes virus, for example warts, would leave,

and then there would be a short period of no change, and then another

herpes virus would leave, for example plantar warts and/or various

rashes would come and go and/or molloscum would come and go. I kept

the lysine until foot problems appeared, and then stopped the lysine

and gave arginine for two days.

>>Same with adult herpetic outbreaks?

Same as above.

>>I have had lingering strep throat...OLE at high doses for how long?

I gave it for two years but was also using it to control viruses.

>>How do I know when its gone?

OLE started causing problems here, when it was time to remove it.

Numbness/tingling/pain in the feet, severe heel cracks. Removing the lysine and

2 days of arginine eliminated the problem.

Good afternoon,

What brand of lysine do you use? What is the dosage that you use? Is it based

on weight?

Thank you,

Jerry

I used a few different brands, mostly Henry's brand.

>>What is the dosage that you use?

3000mg 3x per day for #2, 1500mg 3x per day for me, lower doses for my other

kids.

>>Is it based on weight?

No, it was based on which dose worked best for the specific child/person.
