Guest guest
Oh goodness--no. My son is a big burly 17 year old. I like to share with my kids as much as possible, but not that much! That's the weird thing--that both of us, with separate deodorants, but the same brand, are suddenly having this same issue. I also used to use the lavender one, which he wouldn't be caught dead smelling like. He was using the woodsy one. Now we have both switched to the unscented (2 separate ones!) after the itching started, and it is still occurring. Even if it were a build-up problem, it would be strange that both of us have it occurring at exactly the same time. I'm thinking there's something added and will contact the company. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. In a message dated 5/15/2010 2:03:16 P.M. Central Daylight Time, brueninglaura@... writes: Are u sharing the same deoderent? Now suddenly, even with the unscented, my son and I have been experiencing really itchy armpits--has anyone else had this happened? It's not so much that we both use it and have this problem--but practically simultaneously after using this product for years?? Is there another ingredient they are now adding? If anyone has another aluminum-free product they like...? We've tried the crystal stick--that's just kind of strange and you never can even tell how much is being applied--I don't think it works that well anyway. Guest guest
Weleda Citrus spray rocks. the Tom's was good but stopped working for me. I stunk like a skunk after two hours with it. Tip: you can get weleda on vitacost.com for half the price of getting it at a whole foods. Guest guest
I tried TOm's and HATED it-made me stink more than if I had worn none. For over a year I have been using Young Living's all natural deodorant made from essential oils. I can't say enough wonderful things about it! It only lasts for a day hours but that works for me! And I am not just saying this because I now am an essential oils distrib...I endorse products I've tried and love. www.youngliving.org/kerstenrojas HTH, Kersten You can also see it in my blog about aluminum toxicity at www.chicagonow.com/fightingautism > > So here is the weird part I have had that happen in the past...I would have to stop USing any deoderent for a few days....then I would try again and it would be fine..I have also had a build up problem before and could not use any d.... Guest guest
The deodorant must not be doing it's job, then because the fungus more than likely came from your sweat build-up than deodorant. Or maybe it was doing it's job too well and keeping the sweat at bay. Fungus is caused from not staying dry (too wet). That is why a podiatrist will tell you (if you have athlete's foot-fungus) to wash and dry your feet well, drying well between the toes, and wear clean/dry cotton socks. Change deodorants. > > So here is the weird part I have had that happen in the past...I would have to stop USing any deoderent for a few days....then I would try again and it would be fine..I have also had a build up problem before and could not use any d....
