I used senekot on some severe constipation that keeps happening to my child.

LOts came out, but there are still some hard lumps in her belly that hurt her. I

think there stuck and that is why she keeps getting constipated over and over.

Would I use a stool softener to get them out or something that works by osmosis?

Can't use mag. citrate, it makes her violent, and she won't let me get near her

with an enema? I have no idea how to get these out of her. Any advice would be

appreciated.

Can you get a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil in her? What do

probiotics do to her gut? I give an extra probiotic and my kids bowels

loosen right now.. but if you are dealing with a full on impaction I do

think enemas/doctors might be in order. vitamin C is another good idea.

Do you have a Chinese medicine doctor to go see? I know that Chinese

pediatric massage works for this as well.. just throwing it out there.

If this is as bad as it sounds, I would take her to an MD to make the enema and

make sure she doesn't have an obstruction doing an enema at home is not a good

idea if she does.....

our son is chronic constipated and our homeopath works on but said the main

thing was to keep him going (vitamin c) however he did say that if we thought he

was impacted to take him to a specialist. er doc are looking for a quick fix

(most of the time) and unless your general dr is very good they dont understand

the gut issues our kids face, (like diarrhea while having an impaction).

i hope her tummy gets better soon.

Senekot seemed pretty gentle, but I know I can't use it long term. Thansk
