Guest guest
Just wanted to share with you guys the new cookware I found and see if anyone's heard of it or using it. It's made by the Food Network and it's made in the USA. It's called " cookingreen stoneware " ; stick-resistant stoneware, no seasoning required (unlike cast iron), durable and heat resistant up too 500'F. It's made of clay and water...no chemicals. It's microwaveable and dishwasher safe. I've been using it for a week now and I love it. I bought an 8x8 " square size baker and a 15 " round pizza stone but I haven't used the pizza stone yet. So far I've used the square baker for reheating chicken nuggets, french fries and hamburgers and it's great. The food barely sticks to the surface and my nuggets are homemade so they usually stick to anything non-stick. If anyone's heard anything about this brand, good or bad, I'd like to hear from you. I think I've found a good thing but you never know. FYI-I found it at Kohls. I know...I banned shopping there b/c of their vaccine-donating program but I went there with a friend and wasn't about to let that get in the way of cooking my kid's food safely. From the looks of the label, I think it may be exclusive to Kohls. They both retailed for $39.99 but they were 20% when I bought them. Seems to be the most affordable and convenient (dishwasher safe)option I've been able to find so far. HTH,
