Guest guest
Hi you should have been offered COBRA coverage within 7 days of you leaving your old job. You have 60 days to decide to accept the coverage and you usually have to pay a month in advance. Cobra coverage lasts 12-18 months. Some companies have written in that after you have exhausted COBRA you can convert your coverage to individual coverage and pay the premuims yourself. Keep in Min though that COBRA coverage can be quite expensive as you are paying the entire premium and there is no part that you employer is paying. I was on Cobra coverage for me only on an HMO and it was $425 a month! Also check and see if you can get any stated funded insurance. You state may offer it. Good luck Toni In a message dated 11/30/2005 3:38:14 P.M. Guest guest
Thank you for the information everyone(: I'll try the DHEA. I wish I knew why these spider veins have popped up on my legs since I started the Lexapro. It seemed like it happened within weeks of starting the medicine but I get so many other benefits from it I don't want to stop taking it. Also, a comment to someone who wrote about taking 20mg. My doctor (OB/GYN) said most people do best at 10mg of Lexapro. Don't know where he got his info but he see's a lot of patients and I assume this was the feedback he got from them.
