Guest guest
Hi, This is Susie from Indianapolis. I'm also glad I'm on Methotrexate. My Rheumy has me taking 6 tabs (15 mgs) one day a week along with a daily dosage of Folic Acid and my arthritis is much better this winter than it was last year. Granted, I have a bit of stiffness in my fingers and right knee, but last year I went through a period of time when I discontinued my exercise routine and instead of walking, I was doing a lot of limping. Plus, I was having circulation problems due to the swelling in my knee and ankle. But I guess one persons blessing is another persons junk. Happy Holidays to everyone! Take care and God Bless Susiesnowdrift52003 <snowdrift52003@...> wrote: >> I had monthly labs when I took mtx = but had to go off, as my liver function was really poor. Guest guest
On my !! Thanks everyone!!! I am horrible at remembering to take my methotrexate and reading all these emails about it helped me to remember LOL. This group this is a really really good idea. Methotrexate and Remicade has helped me tremendously too. I wish everyone the best of luck with it. When I was first diagnosed with RA I had an allergic reaction to my gold injections. I was red and itchy all over and felt like everything was swollen. I think my body reacts to not the drugs itself but the components that they are mixed with. My docotor just tried another type of gold injections that are mixed different and everything was fine. friend in Michigan snowdrift52003 <snowdrift52003@...> wrote: >> I had monthly labs when I took mtx = but had to go off, as my liver function was really poor.
