Guest guest
Tammy, I've used trips to see if I can drop any supplements by eliminating them for a few days. Last year when we went camping, I dropped everything for 4 days except for fish oil, vit E, and some yogurt for the probiotics(I brought some in a cooler..we aren't CF). We had chelated about 13 rounds at the time and it was a big break thru for us that 4 days with limited supplements didn't result in any major regression, poop issues, or yeast attacks. After the trip, I didn't buy anymore enzymes and started cutting them back to once a day until I used them up. This year for our 5 day camping trip, I'm thinking fish oil only to see how it goes. Obviously, the " top " supplements for each kid are different. Good Luck and have FUN! > > We are going to be on the road for 12 days in June with a black extended cab truck with a topper. My 10.5 PPD-NOS guy takes 20+ supplements a day and my 7.5 food allergy guy take 12+. I plan on personal care products to stay in the cab and all other house old items go in the back in the topper. > > So.....I really don't feel like dealing with hauling all the bottles, worrying about heat, trying to keep in a cooler, dry so when we stop, heat issues. I'm thinking about not taking anything except VIT C, biotin and digestive enzymes. What ya think? > > I'm not going to do any chelation. My vacation! > > I did look at those vitamin holders, thinking I'd pre make my piles and take. My piles wouldn't fit. Oh the stuff I get down their throats. > > Thanks > Tammy > > >
Guest guest
Thoughts? Man, wish I could pick up and get these kids out camping...thanks for the idea! I would never do without P5P+magnesium, cod liver oil, Omega 3's, whey protein shakes as medium for other supplements.....not much of a vacation when your kid runs head long into solid objects...ER visits not my kinda zen, ya know. As for cooler...I have a portable, plug in the car version big enough for a six pack (no,not what I use it for,... yet.) Found it at Joannes of all places and it has cool/heat switch. Probably not hard to track one down on the internet. Have some fun for us! Theodora > > We are going to be on the road for 12 days in June with a black extended cab truck with a topper.
