He is fine with both but not at same time. DMPS is hard to get hold of

without RX and much more expensive which is why most folks here use DMSA and/or

ALA

Hello all,

My son is 18 and on Abilify. Is it too late to use this protocol to help him? He

has low iron, strontium, calcium, some demineralization of teeth. Can he use the

ALA with the Abilify? I have waffled back and forth because the hair test didn't

show anything conclusive but would like to do this if there is a chance it will

help him. How do I start? What do I support him with first? Does his gut need to

be healed? He also has IBS and constipation issues.

Thanks for your help.

What's the point of the abilify? It's never too late to start chelating. Many

don't meet the counting rules for hair test but see great benefits of ac

chelation.

Gut doesent have to be cleaned up to start. Essential supps for ac chelation

are zinc, vit c. Magnesium, EFA's and vit e.

Study up on the protocol.

My daughter was 16y when I found the info that has been so beneficial for her.

Dietary interventions gfcfsf have allowed her to be seizure free as well as help

gut symptoms. Hair testing here has been inconclusive also - not meeting

counting rules at times probably because of the supplements she has been on as

Cutler states. Chelating has caused only good changes. The Cutler protocol is

the only one I would do for her. If I had waited for her gut to heal, I'd still

be waiting. It's never too late,

I was able to wean our son off Abilify and are now weaning him from Adderall.

You can do it too. While I was weaning him off, I was implementing a new diet

and slowly adding supplements. Abilify is not great stuff, so I would get him

off asap. Best of luck!!
