Guest guest
Just wondering because I will be starting chelation soon for my daughter...do you need to have an effective treatment for yeast before starting chelation? My daughter has been on GSE for a week now with no improvement seen. We stopped Biotin after I found out it is a B vitamin. My daughter does not tolerate B vitamins. She is still licking and mouthing EVERYTHING. I read that we should have a treatment on board for yeast during chelation for when yeast is stirred up, but I also don't want to waste time finding a treatment for yeast when Mercury is the root of ALL the problems. I want to start chelation ASAP! Thanks, Emerson momma to 2 little girls
Guest guest
Yes, do! Yeast is the root of part of that evil. You'll be amazed! Brainchild Nutritionals sells a natural yeast protocol, with rotation. Look into it. Good stuff. Tammy [ ] Need effective treatment for yeast before starting chelation??? You need to know what will work to control yeast for your child, because you will likely be fighting yeast while chelating. >>My daughter has been on GSE for a week now with no improvement seen. What symptoms does she have, that make you think yeast? How much GSE are you giving? >>We stopped Biotin after I found out it is a B vitamin. It is sometimes called vitamin B7 and sometimes vitamin H. It is the only B vitamin that did not increase yeast here, it actually was what my son's body needed to *control* yeast. Are you sure she is not tolerating it? >>She is still licking and mouthing EVERYTHING. This can be yeast, or a few other things. Some kids mouth things because of low zinc. Guest guest
The gut should always be the first line of combat before chelation. We couldnt wait to chelate because we knew all along there was a problem. It was frustrating having to wait so long but well worth it since we have had no issues since starting. I hear too many times how some children crash when starting chelation too soon. Also, " licking " is usually helped with giving Zinc. Hope this helps, > > Just wondering because I will be starting chelation soon for my daughter...do you need to have an effective treatment for yeast before starting chelation? Guest guest
My daughter's symptoms that I thought were yeast related are licking/mouthing everything, bloated belly, soaking her crib with urine at night even though she still wears a diaper, and teeth grinding. She has been on Zinc for several months, but maybe we are not giving her enough??? She takes 1 capsule(250 mg) daily of Zinc Picolinate per her DAN doc because her zinc to copper ratio was not within normal parameters, showing that she had high amounts of copper. She is taking 2 drops of GSE each morning. Maybe we should give Biotin another try... > > Just wondering because I will be starting chelation soon for my daughter...do you need to have an effective treatment for yeast before starting chelation? All of those can be related to yeast overgrowth. But, they can all be other things also. >>She has been on Zinc for several months, but maybe we are not giving her enough??? This is a really high dose. Try dropping it for two days. When my son no longer needed zinc, it started causing the same symptoms that initially it can eliminated. >>She is taking 2 drops of GSE each morning. Maybe we should give Biotin another try... Or give 2 drops GSE in the afternoon also, see if that helps. Or give 4-5 drops, etc. But adding biotin is also a good idea. Dana
