titanium, was Re: OT: root canal

At one time about 10 years ago titanium and stainless steel posts for root

canal-ed teeth contained 5% nickel. I don't know if they still do or if surgical

" hardware " does. Titanium is an element but some things referred to as titanium

are not pure titanium.

I would think so, but I'm no expert. I was only repeating what Andy said about

the stainless. Maybe someone else could comment as well?

You might want to google the composition of Titanium and see if there are any

heavy metals.
