Guest guest
Anyone see dry lips with food allergies? My nt 7.5 year old has had really severe dry lips since Friday. Today wasn't feeling well and threw up at school, no fever. So I'm guessing skittles from the weekend, two birthday parties and he's been eating apple sauce almost daily. Back off, clean up diet and see if he clears up...but anyone with dry lips and food allergies? Never seen it before but haven't been good about rotation. We'll push water too today. Thanks in advance. Tammy

Guest guest
Gosh - that could be it. My scalp was doing better and on the getting bad side and my lips have seemed more dryer than usual. In WI so the winter can do it, but more so. That could be it! Thanks Tammy [ ] dry lips, food allergy maybe? Anyone see dry lips with food allergies? Guest guest
I haven't worked out the cause yet, but when my lips go dry a lot of extra oils help - esp olive oil and coconut oil - I take these by the spoonful. Guest guest
My son tends to get dry lips and " clown lips " a few days after a round, and I'm pretty sure it's from yeast. If I remember to up his GSE during the round and a few days after, it seems to pass quickly. > > > > > > Gosh - that could be it. Guest guest
Clown lips here was yeast and food intolerance. We did have to deal with yeast, but we still do with chelation and no clown lips. Once we pulled soy out of EVERYTHING, even lip balm, shampoo, etc. the clown lips finally cleared up for good. > > > > > > > > Gosh - that could be it. Guest guest
A red rash that circles the lips - so that the kis lips look thick and like a painted on clown smile. > > > > > > > > > > Gosh - that could be it. Guest guest
Also look into b2 deficiency. in our experience, these things are often concurrent, vs either/or...elizabeth > > > > > > > > > > > > Gosh - that could be it. Guest guest
My son had the clown lips problem for about 6 mos. I read on one of my groups that it could be caused by Vit B or D deficiency. I added both and the lip problem cleared up and hasn't come back (it's been about a year). ________________________________ From: mosaictm <sunshine369@...> Sent: Tue, March 2, 2010 8:28:02 AM Subject: [ ] Re: dry lips, food allergy maybe?  A red rash that circles the lips - so that the kis lips look thick and like a painted on clown smile. > > > > > > > > > > Gosh - that could be it. Guest guest
Clown lips means yeast around here too. I tried numerous other things to start with, but GSE is the only thing that clears it up so I'm positive it's yeast. My dd has a good case of clown lips right now, but I think I'll have it under control by tomorrow morning because GSE can work really fast to solve the problem (I had to be out of town and dh is not too good about dealing with issues like this so dd's lips got pretty bad while I was gone).
