Guest guest
Our 9 y/o son is on round #3 DMSA 12.5mg AC Protocol. 3 times now out of the blue he has complained of severe burning all over his body. Twice it brought him to tears. The 1st time it happened, we were in Palm Springs and it was 108 degrees, so I thought maybe it was the heat, but it has happened 2 times since. He describes it as feeling hot, like being burned all over. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? Is this a side effect of chelation? Other than chelation, the only other supps we have added are adrenal support, a few weeks ago. Thanks! Jill
Guest guest
My friend's son with ASD gets these feelings in his legs with lots of pain. She took him to a neurologist, and it is nerve damage. I know nerve disorders can manifest like this, but best to ask ANDY or someone more knowledgeable than me if this has anything to do with chelation. Guest guest
I have had something like this a few times in one leg. My impression is that it is related to anesthesia residue from a surgery I had on that foot. Heat and sunlight seem to promote it but are not " the cause " . I sort of suspect it is about the anesthesia residue coming out and some of these things promoting that process. B vitamin supplements and eating egg yolks have helped with this, presumably because they support the nerves. Guest guest
My son had very bad episodes of stomping, kicking and biting while chelating. Andy told me to increase his EFA's.
