Guest guest
My 11yo son had a sore throat on Fri nite, for which I gave him 1 children's advil tablet. I gave that to him in the evening, and the following day's (Sat) behavior was amazingly great (much better than usual). Sat nite, he had no sore throat, so I did not give him advil. Today (Sun) has been back to his difficult behavior. Basically, his behavior issues involve lack of impulse/anger control and just freaking out over something minor rather than taking it in stride. I've previously given him low dose spironolactone, which was very helpful with behavior for a while. I'm a little concerned about whether this is the right thing to do, esp given his age. So, I'm wondering what I should give to my son - for what looks like an inflammation issue? Would spiro be safe? Anything else? Thanks
Guest guest
We use curcumin powder. Lee Silsby pharmacy in Cleveland, Ohio sells Enhansa (curcumin powder). We ran out a few months ago and our daughter was ok for about the first week and then we saw her behavior take a dive. Once we got the curcumin powder back into her, she bounced back.  Jill Elijah's Retreat “YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!! Every significant advance that has happened for autism is the result of the efforts of parents.†- Jepson, MD (NAA Conference, 2005)                                      ________________________________ From: SB <stompingbaby@...> Sent: Sun, December 5, 2010 4:31:39 PM Subject: [ ] ADVIL brings behavior gains for my son  My 11yo son had a sore throat on Fri nite, for which I gave him 1 children's advil tablet. Guest guest
I've noticed my 9 year old son behaves better when given Advil. I wasn't sure if it was a coincidence or what but inflamation makes sense. Thanks for the post. ~
