Guest guest
> We are on round 4 of ALA only.Today we are on second day. Today we are seeing that he is shaking his head a lot. This shake is from front to back. He is shaking his head backward . Is it might be due to ALA action? Any comments? At my house, my son would shake his head side-to-side sometimes, which meant yeast in his ears. Dana
Guest guest
We have an expression in my household: " the head shaky thing " . I don't quite know how to describe it. For me, when I do that, it is a die-off reaction, related to die-off happening in my head, face and/or neck. (Dana mentioned yeast. Die-off tends to promote yeast. So those two things could easily be related.) Guest guest
Could be your ALA dose is too high. When we were giving our son as little as 5 mg of ALA he started to make a whining sound and shake his head and even tried to bang his head against the wall (which he had never done prior amd has not done since)when we lowered it to 3 mg- it went away. I know when I started ALA- and went up a bit too high with my ala dose, my head felt like it was going to explode - a horrible feeling of pain- I just can't describe. Lowering the dose solved my problem. Irene 5 year old, 113 rounds 70 rounds, me > > We are on round 4 of ALA only.Today we are on second day. Today we are seeing that he is shaking his head a lot. Guest guest
Irene, Thanks for your advice. We were using the same dose from very first round. Till this round we have not seen such behaviour. In last round we did increase the dose a bit but have reduced back to original from where we started. Guest guest
In my case, I am very clear it is a die-off reaction, not specifically " due to yeast " . I can feel the difference. Yeast problems in my mouth feel very different to me and need to be treated. This does not need to be treated. Instead, it is a result of treatment.
