Guest guest
Will never buy the book just bcoz it supports autism speaks From: Liz <elizabethsoliday@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Support Autism Speaks with Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Cooking Made Easy Received: Wednesday, September 29, 2010, 11:35 PM Â Good luck with that. I don't support Autism Speaks. > > Hey friends, > > There is a new Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free cookbook out that is donating $1 of all sales to AUTISM SPEAKS. As some of you know, a gluten-free and dairy-free diet is very helpful for many people dealing with AUTISM. These are some fabulous recipes, they are easy to make (no crazy ingredients you've never heard of!) and they are very nutritious as well. > > Check it out! http://bit.ly/artkHF > > Sincerely, > Christie Bessinger > GlutenFreeWorks.com >

Guest guest
Isn't the founders own daughter against them for the same reason we are? Guest guest
Good luck with it. Autism speaks has been very successful at raising money and awareness, but where's the money going and why won't they give any recognition to the efforts of parents healing vaccine-injured children? Sent via DROID on Verizon Wireless [ ] Re: Support Autism Speaks with Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Cooking Made Easy I've never heard anything negative about them... but I will read up on the link you sent me. Either way, the cookbook has some great recipes... it's under 10 bucks, and after today it no longer goes towards the Autism Speaks rally. http://bit.ly/artkHF -Christie > > > > > > Hey friends, > > > > > > There is a new Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free cookbook out that is donating $1 > > of all > > >sales to AUTISM SPEAKS. Guest guest
AMEN! If these organization really want to help, start a trust fund to fund medical treatments, therapies, education, the financial ruin that can come with this diagnosis. For my money, I will support Buck Nation for helping families with ASD in financial crisis. These organizations who keep touting " genetics " and research have never helped my son. This group is what saved my son! It also irks me that they ask for money from the very people who have been bankrupted by the condition! I've never found any help trickle down from any of these. Have any of you? Research is NOT going to help the kids afflicted now, today. And so long as they avoid the vaccine issue and the environmental issue and keep searching for that " gene " to blame it on, I'm not buying. If the American Cancer Society ever found the " cure, " it would put a whole lot of people out of work and them out of business. Get the point? Sorry, I'm in a cynical mood tonight.
