Guest guest
I'm not an expert, but I would say it is some combitation of both. Your immune system is just shot to pieces when you are dealing with toxicity. Getting the toxins out allows the immune system to heal in part, but you still may need a little help from sups to win the war. > > This question was raised on another board and I was not certain how to answer. > > Does Chelation or do Supplements eliminate viruses? > > Do you have to chelate to lower toxicity in order for supplements to be effective against viruses? > > The theory presented was XMRV virus (or some other virus)was underlying cause of autism and chelation had nothing to do with eliminating this cause. > > I personally believe mercury and toxins are triggers and kids are susceptible to viruses due to impaired immune system and after chelation heals to some level, supplements will be effective in conjunction with healthier immune system in suppressing and eliminating viruses. > > Any experts to clarify, please? >

At my house, what eliminated viruses was high doses of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, and lysine. > The theory presented was XMRV virus (or some other virus)was underlying cause of autism and chelation had nothing to do with eliminating this cause. My son required both chelation and the supps above [as well as several other supps]. My theory is that metals caused my son's body to be all messed up, including the fact that he could not absorb any of these nutrients from foods. So first I had to remove the metals, then I had to get his nutritional status normalized. Then he was recovered. Dana
