Guest guest
HI Everyone, Trying to figure out what I should do for my 8 yo old ASD son.We have been doing biomed 6 + years and recently(Dec 2009)started AC protocol. The last while(can't remember if before or at the time of chelation)he has been not able to just go ahead and for example: open the door, put on jacket etc etc. He stalls like something is happening neurologially to him.Like it ain't clicking in his head.He has also fallen 3-4 times at school. The teacher siad his legs appeared to just give out from beneath him(she witnessed this several times). I hope I am getting the picture across well enough.Have any of you experienced this with your child especially during chelation?I am worrried and am wondering if he needs an MRI or soemthing. Please let me know what you all think...I need to do something soon...Jakob' s Mom
Guest guest
It is also a possibility that he is experiencing a dangerously low drop in blood sugar. Does he seem upset at all before it happens? Nervous, excited, sweating, desperate-acting?? Don't know how you would test because the tests on our kids for this are sometimes very off. Ask the teachers or think back, did he eat before this happened or was it an hour or more since he ate? > > HI Everyone, > > Trying to figure out what I should do for my 8 yo old ASD son.We have been doing biomed 6 + years and recently(Dec 2009)started AC protocol. > > Please let me know what you all think...I need to do something soon...Jakob' s Mom >
Guest guest
This does not sound very much like low blood sugar as it appears to resolve without any measures to raise the sugar level. The time course would be helpful in reaching some conclusion. Does the period of confusion last for seconds, minutes, or longer? Does it recur several times in the course of an hour or in the course of a day? How frequently do these episodes occur? Is there impairment of consciousness or alertness while they are occurring?
