Guest guest
First thing you need to do is stop the IV chelation. Very dangerous, as you are finding out the hard way. Do proper chelation using the AC protocol and pray you didn't do any permanent damage. Guest guest
I agree. We did IV chelation, and though we initially saw gains, then we saw regression and " stimming " with eye flicking came back. The worst was that our son suffered reaction following IV chelation. At first we thought it was the sulfur in DMPS or DMSA, but then our son had a severe respiratory reaction to IV EDTA, and the doctor STILL wanted to continue! But then he wanted to give oral steroids before doing IV. Well, he knew the one and only time we gave oral steroids for another issue, our son had a psychotic episode, but he wanted to do it regardless just so he could keep milking us for $$$ on IV. Then I figured out that even though our insurance covered IV chelation, as our son is diagnosed with heavy metal intoxication, this doctor was not filing it with insurance nor was he telling us this. He was just charging us out of pocket and not even giving us the opportunity to file. When I pointed this out to the doctor, he spoke with me privately and then said if we continued he would let us file, but please don't tell the other parents. We of course, were disgusted and did not go back. When I brought up doing AC protocol, then he suggested if we wouldn't do his protocol to " just leave the metals in there. " This is when we came home, started re-reading Andy's book. I believe low and slow is the way to go -- the only way to go. I am just so thankful that his respiratory reactions to IV weren't tragic, but three times after IV chelation, our son had asthma attacks and two of them snowballed into pneumonia! The reason we did # two was the doctor said coincidence. Then we stopped and a couple of years later found our son's lead levels high, so we though if we only did EDTA, but then he had another bad asthma attack, and we quit doing IV and would never do it that way again. I truly believe that IV chelation only moves metals around and redeposits them elsewhere, and this is very bad for the child. Please, read Andy's book. Please take great care in the things you choose to heal your child. This group was the first I found after my son regressed, and what the parents and Andy told me here would improve my child DID improve my child. I regret I did not listen about doing the AC protocol in the first place. Better late than never.
