Guest guest
Hi everyone, just a quick question about ALA and eyes bugging. We're on about round 40 of DMSA and are doing our 2nd attempt at adding ALA this weekend. B/c of my son's severe phenol issues, we're trying only 1mg capsules this time. All weekend, every once in a while my son's eyes will get really wide and sort of bug out for a few seconds then go back to normal. Nothing else has changed this weekend so I assume this is the ALA. Does anyone know why and if this is bad? Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure he had this same side effect a couple months ago when we tried the 5mg capsules of ALA. Other than that his behaviors are fine and no red cheeks or any other phenol-related symptoms like last time. The eye bugging thing is weirding me out though. I appreciate any advice! Thanks!
