Hello Bob!!

Wow...thank you so much for your information. I am going to try using the at

home sauna for my child. If she can tolerate it...then I will consider buying a

sauna. However, I will be moving to a country which works on 220v. Does Heavenly

Heat build saunas for 220 volt? Are they shippable to China?

Thanks,

1. We currently have a built in sauna in the house we are renting...but have

never used it. How can I tell if it is safe?

Built-in saunas tend to be chemically safer as the wall & ceiling boards are

usually nailed to the home framing. The " toxic sauna " problems are mostly with

modular saunas, and this includes virtually all of the FIR saunas in the

marketplace. They are commonly built in pre-fabricated panels that are heavily

glued-together. Since adhesives allow the use of very thin paneling boards, key

areas in some of these saunas are reinforced with plywood or similar materials

that are undesirable in a sauna.

The most common wood in traditional saunas is western red cedar. This can

trigger allergy-type reactions in chemically sensitive folks. This should not be

a problem, though, if the user is not specifically reactive to it. The aromatic

characteristics of WRC tend to dissipate over time, so if this unit is several

years old, the wood may not be an issue.

2. What is the difference between Heavenly Heat and other FIR saunas?

In summary: Heavenly Heat builds without adhesives; ventilates the air space

properly; doesn't hide other species of wood in the framing (and then describe

the saunas as " hypoallergenic " ); doesn't use plywood, laminates, or varnish;

uses low-EMF heaters; builds in the USA; wires-in voltage regulators so each

bather can control the infrared levels to limit the FIR exposure for beginners

and kids and to create a sense of more balanced body-heating; created a gentle

suggestion-protocol for children.

3. Can the sauna be used at the same time as chelation?

I think so.

4. Is it worth it to buy a new one or use the sauna currently in my rented

house?

Try the one in you house. Start at a low temp. Limit first sessions to 15

minutes or so. Be well-hydrated. Contact me for more specific guidance if you'd

like.
