Guest guest
Dana, I have my son's blood work for his amino acid. I think you had mentioned looking at the lysine to arginine ratio. What should that ratio be? In reviewing my son's amino acid test (blood work): 1. Lysine was 127 umol/L (considered normal) (Reference Range: 98 - 231 umol/L). 2. Arginine was 127 umol/L (Considered High) (Reference Range: 38 - 122 umol/L). Thanks in adance, Jerry > > What kinds of foot problems have people observed with lysine? What > > should I watch for? (I apologize -- suspect this was addressed earlier > > in this thread and I missed it.) > > > Numbness/tingling/pain in the feet, severe heel cracks. Removing the lysine and 2 days of arginine eliminated the problem. > > Dana >

What should that ratio be? Neither of them are low for your son, so he may not be fighting a herpes issue. Does he have any signs of herpes virus? If he does, you can try adding a small dose of lysine, see if you notice anything. Dana
Guest guest
Good morning, Dana, When we visit our homeopath, she does Electro Dermal Screening and she finds the Herpes Zoster as a virus that is still showing as an issue (9.0 out of a 20.0 scale - Anything above 10.0 is considered resolved and healthy status). So we are almost to the point of resolving the Herpes Zoster. I just wanted to get some other opinions in order to try different options to get us over the hump. We will be seeing our homeopath in a few weeks. We will see were we stand. I think we will add some lysine and see what happens at our next visit. Thank you again for everything.
