Transdermal ALA chelation isn't especially effective. I believe you get maybe

20% or 30% of the active ingredient absorbed for purposes related to chelating,

so, unless you're trying to give the least amount possible or have some

digestive related issue to consuming it orally, you're somewhat wasting your

time and money doing it this way, (not to mention the inconvenience) from what

little transdermal chelation we've done, including with ALA.

Others have confirmed as much to me, and have warned me not to do it orally and

transdermally at the same time, but I can't see (logically?) anything really

wrong with trying this very safe supplement (much more used for other things,

related to its anti-oxidant properties) any way you want to do it.

Try it. I figure chelating should be started in small steps/doses to see how it

works (and to make the necessary adjustments, based on the response you're

getting, where you don't need to take any more chances than you have to, right,

even with something so close to being natural as with ALA) on doing ALA

transdermally would be a small step, indeed.

Small steps/doses done more frequently would be more in line with the Andy

Cutler (frequent-low-dose) protocol so it could be helpful to do ALA

transdermally in that respect. I found it to be a bother and not especially

effective though, vs. doing ALA orally.

Oral chelation is best, of course, but transdermal is not a waste of time if it

is your only choice. Not sure where you got those absorption rates. My younger

son will not tolerate an oral syringe, which is why we do TD ALA. Just don't mix

and match, its one or the other during a round. Dosing and frequency are the

same as oral. We are seeing steady progress with our boy, well on his way to

recovering.

Well, at least we helped this person who needs help, or why be here. Now she (or

he) has more choices. Choice is good, I more than figure

I sort of make it my way.. .

Here's more than hoping that's our way.

We haven't done any trans dermal but just started our journey with oral

chelation.I heard it is not as effective as doing it orally. We started with

only DMSA for every four hours and i am wrapping up my 5th round with my 4 yr

old son today. I can see some improvement in his eye contact and requesting " I

want " already.

I was scared to start as my son tends to wake up in the middle of the night if

he gets disturbed, but he woke up only during the first round in the middle of

the night dosage. He didn't wake up during my last four rounds ans it is going

smooth for me too.

TJ and All,

I'm also not sure where I got those absoption rates either, that I'm sure of

anything to do with *knowledge* (the government's BS?) not so much of my self..

.. [Hello, should we be?!.] If I should find the stat/s on that I'll post

it/them, that I can remember to do as much, that I should care? .. .

Glavic

On the government and politics they claim we deserve?!. It's so easy to get

sucked into Humanity, I Know -- Glavic

Justice would be my thing in that respect (even beyond Humanity? as we Know It?)

I figure, that I ain't benefitting the reward/s of as much, but I Feel I Am! ..

.. So much for political BS and abuse otherwise.

I understand that people who go up against our political state (and their

lackies?) run into problems, sheesh, what do you expect when you run up against

an abusive entity, hugs and kisses? Be wise, to as much, I serve and Am, and

wish as much for All
