Guest guest
It's music therapy to heal auditory processing & more. An OT will have the child do movement of swinging while listening or sensory play, like modeling clay, sensory balls, or simple things like tolerating sand. My son got potty-trained after mos on the program. We tried for 2 years with no luck before it. We played games with him to listen at home. They get used to it. It's nice you can do it at home. It takes 2 years to finish. You have to use their specialized headphones with any CD player. http://www.atotalapproach.com/docs/TL.pdf http://www.vitallinks.net/index.shtml This lists teleconferences & has training outside the US. http://www.vitalsounds.com/ Buy headphones & CD's. Search Ebay or autismforsale group for used. My best, Kathy From: Zheng Liang <zliang69@...> Subject: [ ] What is TLP program  Hi,   May I ask what is TLP program? I had no idea it could cost so much. A friend gave us theirs for free along with the special headphones. Wow. I told her thank you but had no clue it was that expensive. She will not accept money but I think I might be baking her a cake or something. Sheesh! > > > > I'm really surprised to see that some kids have significant language > > benefits thanks to this program.
