Guest guest
Yes, we are supplementing with Zinc (20 mg/day) , but not as much recommended by Andy. The reason is my daughter is very LOW in Copper. Our previous DAN said high Zinc, Copper ratio (Too HIGH Zinc and Too LOW Copper) is not good. I think, Andy is the right one to answer this! Is it ok to be too LOW in Copper? regards, Ragha > > > From: Ann Schimka <aschimka@...> > Subject: RE: [ ] Increased stimming with ALA, please help me decide > > Date: Saturday, February 13, 2010, 9:19 PM > > > Â > > > > My son takes Nystatin to keep his yeast under control and when we are doing > chelation days.....I increase his dose from 4 scoops to 6 scoops (per his > DAN) for a few days....ALA stimulates more yeast (I believe).... > > ANN > > _____ > > From: [mailto: @ groups. com] > On Behalf Of truthwinsnow > Sent: Saturday, February 13, 2010 6:57 PM > > Subject: [ ] Increased stimming with ALA, please help me decide > > Hello parents, > > We did several rounds of DMSA (25 mg every 4 hours) on my daughter (7 yo, 62 > lbs) without any medical or behavioral side effects (except little tired). > Then we introduced ALA at 7 mg and slowly increased up to 12.5 mg. > > She became very stimmy at ALA 12.5 mg and was tapping on surfaces all day > long.
