As far as i know ,  there isn't particular supps  for OCD , rather You have to

treat Strepp infections , as they cause OCD behaviors . What makes You think

that is a OCD and not a Stimming ?

My son has been rubbing his cheek constantly and shaking his head. If I

try to limit one behavior it is replaced by the other one. What should I do?

My kids never rubbed their cheek, but head shaking was usually caused by yeast

overgrowth.

At my house, OCD was eliminated with OLE, B vitamins, yeast control, and

anti-virals. All of those were required before the OCD was gone.

We treated my son with Allicin as our doctor said that Allicin is better than

pharma antibiotics. I'd like some feedback on this. My son is in his early

20s, has strep antibodies at 201 and so we our doctor tried Allicin 450 mg 3

times a day for 10 days, but we didn't see any gains, so now my son is going

through a detox to pull and we will try Allicin again.

Any comments on Allicin?

Comes from garlic. Garlic is antibacterial, antifungal, and tasty too.

Dana,

Did you chelate for a while before adding OLE, or did you just start at the

same time? My son's stimming, SID, and OCD came back after doing IV. We

are now on round ten of AC using ALA only. things are going well, but

sometimes the SID and stimming make me think I am not doing enough. I guess

because these had disappeared before starting IV, and I just would like to

figure this out.

Thanks

Hi Dana, should I get B vitamins from health food store and if yes of what

strength and what is OLE or in other words where did you you order them from.

Also can my pediatrician order these tests to know what deficiencies are there?

He certainly had low Ca and Mg an Vit. C. But I started to give him the

supplements and he became more stimmy and didn't see any results for a week.

Does Vit C also causes stimming?

thanks

We use a similar product called Allimed for Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It the only

thing so far that has had an effect on that bacteria. We've been trying to get

rid of it for two years. My son's last CDSA went from + 4 to +1.

Its supposed to be good for drug resistant species of MRSA, Methacillin

Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, VRSA and GRSA bacteria.

We do the drops which are pretty potent.

I did OLE after chelation. Looking back, I should have started OLE sooner.

> Hi Dana, should I get B vitamins from health food store

That is where I bought mine.

>>and if yes of what strength

I bought B50 [a multi] and also the individuals, which were usually 100mg each.

I gave each individual at low dose to see what each one did. After a while, I

gave the B50.

>>and what is OLE

Olive leaf extract, an anti-bacterial and anti-viral.

>>Also can my pediatrician order these tests to know what deficiencies are

there?

He can, but I don't know if he will.

>>He certainly had low Ca and Mg an Vit. C. But I started to give him the

Does Vit C also causes stimming?

Vitamin C required carnitine here for proper absorption, and it did tend to

really increase yeast because of its anti-viral properties. It can cause

problems for kids who have issues with oxalates. Also, most C is made from

corn, so if your child does not tolerate corn, use a non-corn variety.

I tested by observation of symptoms, so I usually don't know specific tests that

you can request. What exactly are you wanting to test for?

>>vit c is corn and soy based

You can try TwinLabs Allergy C, it is not made from corn.

Are there others not made from corn. I have been using Kirkman's buffered c.

Would it be evident if he were having a problem with corn?

The only one I know of is TwinLabs Allergy C.

Sometimes you can't really tell until you try removing the corn for a few days.

He cut corn out of his diet years ago. Won't even eat cheetos any more and that

use to be the only snack he would eat. But I think there is corn in a lot of

stuff and I would hate to be feeding him vitamins that have corn in them.

Thanks for the tip. I will try the twin labs instead. Where do I find that? do

they have a website.

I sure wish you would write another book detailing all of this stuff.

Inositol for anxiety.

Brand doesn't matter. Get the powder, feed it to him by the heaping spoonfull -

it tastes great!

You can give it with adrenal cortex and anything else you want.

Thanks Andy! I will order it. Excess stimming is still the only big

negative we are seeing. When I see anxiety or asthma like symptoms I know

to up his ACE, but I have been at a loss about the stimming and hyper

activity.

PA: There is also research that PA is more treatable if you reduce acidity.

The link to the PDF file is dead but I quoted the part that I felt was relevant.

I haven't had a chance to try to find a duplicate of the research it linked to.

(The acidity angle generally fits with what I have learned about infection --

treating infection has been my big thing because of my genetic disorder. I have

come to believe that the high acidity my condition promotes directly promotes

infection and indirectly promotes other issues.)

http://healthgazelle.com/quinineandpseudomonas.shtml

OCD: My youngest son was improved with getting a good mulitvitamin he tolerated

and, ultimately, it was cleared up by addressing fungal issues.

Strep: I took a combo of vitamin A, vitamin E and OLE for about 2 years. The

first year, I had various, random die off rashes. The second year, I had lots

and lots and lots of strep die off.

Inositol can be given regardless of whether you are chelating.

The most relevant issue is that it is 'illegal' on the specific carbohydrate

diet.
