Guest guest
While he is old enough to use the steriods under the supervision of a doctor I would advise some caution on the doses give and the length of time and why they want to give them. Do you have Andy's book Amalgam Illness? He also has a book on his website for sale about treating ASD. NO glutathione at all and NOTHING in an IV. That will make him worse. And it will not make him better. In a child with these complexities I'd want to see a saliva panel for hormones, serum labs for thyroid function, a delayed food allergy panel, a hair test from Doctors Data. DMSA challenges don't always show mercury if it's in the brain. If he has gut issues what kind of diet is he on? Is he gluten free?? On any probitoics? Have you done a parasite cleanse? What gut medication are they giving him that is aggravating seizures and what is the medicine supposed to treat? If he has brain inflammation that's viral in origin, antiviral therapy may be helpful. Not glutathione. Parasites can cause seizures, so can significant thyroid dysfunction. I think the Dr. Kringsman he's referring to is at Thoughtful House in the the U.S. http://thoughtfulhouse.org/ If you can go there, maybe it's worth doing that. In my opinion it's a very bad choice to put this child on IV glutathione. I'm not sure about the steroids because I don't know the doses involved here or the reason they feel it's imminent he has steroids. Generally they should not be used in children. However at 17 he's almost not a child anymore and if he were in significant adrenal failure....they may be needed. Guest guest
I would avoid steroids at all cost unless life threatening allergic reaction. I would treat pathogens to reduce inflammation rather than weaken the immune system with steroids. If you don't have a pathogenic dx it often is effective to try broad spectrum herbal remedies like OLE and GSE to hit as many bugs as possbile. I think most would recommend glutathione precursors instead of glutathione directly, however, I have seen some parents with good reports from glutathione directly. > > Hello LIst members, > > I am a member of your list but I never wrote anything in the past because we were not chelating.
