The doctors said  that it don't need to put her on medication for it. However

her neurologist prescribed Risperdal not for the EEG activivty but to help calm

her down in general and keep her focused. Does this abnormal activity affect

communication? Will chelation help? Can i chelate and give her Risperdal at the

same time? I haven't started giving her the Risperdal yet because of the side

effects.

There are very few choices other than antiseizure medications, which unless they

absolutely knew what she had and that it didn't respond, really should be tried.

The EEG details - in the written report in her chart, not what the doctor told

you - may aid in selection of the drug most likely to work.

Did the doctor offer to prescribe?  If so, what?
