That would be a valid assumption.

It does prove that your daughter has metal issues and would benefit from

chelation on the frequent-low-dose Cutler protocol.

You should not assume mercury, as ALA chelates arsenic and other metals

as well. Have you done a DDI hair test?

No way to reverse it, just stop taking it. Proper chelation will take care of

things ultimately.

Hi, I've just joined this group due to needing advice regarding ALA in

Now I realize this packet contains 10 mg ALA and I think the tics came from

this. Is there anything I can do to reverse this. I suppose she has mercury

I already knew she had metal issues, but didn't connect that supplement to

anything

detrimental for her.....

What about giving some good antioxidants? Could that help the tics?

At my house, most tics were caused by yeast overgrowth. If the ALA was alpha

lipoic acid [rather than alpha linoleic acid], then it probably increased yeast.

Try increasing the yeast protocol, see if that helps.

What will ALA do to you if you have amalgam fillings that are like 40-50 years

old? I just take an alpha-lipoic acid for inflammation and help with insulin

resistance.

Chelating properly will eventually, hopefully, get to the redistributed

ALA does what it does. It doesn't matter what you take it _for_.

ALA chelates the mercury in the amalgam and redistributes it to the

brain and other organs if you don't use it on a schedule that takes into

account its half-life and keeps blood levels constant.

Please stop taking ALA sporadically. You are hurting yourself.

Then how do I take it or should I not take it at all with fillings. It would be

easier to have all my teeth removed than remove all the fillings, even it I

could find someone to do so. Did they even do composite fillings 50 years ago.

They all look like silver except the one in my front tooth.

You should not chelate with amalgam (silver-coloured) fillings.

It will slam mercury into your brain. The ALA will do what it does regardless

of what you take it for. Please stop taking it until 3 months after you have

the amalgams safely removed according to proper protocol.

Moving mercury causes yeast whether dosed correctly/safely or not. It may also

be causing the tics.

But wouldnt it be more likely the action of ALA on metals, dosed once a day like

this cause the tics as apposed to yeast?
