Guest guest
And you can do all that and still come out with a false negative, Some folks show nothing at all until they start chelation............and even if it does show stuff you can;t do much about it until you have the fillings out so I would save your money for that Mandi in UK In a message dated 10/09/2010 17:38:35 GMT Daylight Time, nina@... writes: I guess part of why I am not sure what is best is that when he wrote " The problems are from shaking it (to mix the sample), exposing it to light, or letting it warm to room temperature BEFORE it is preserved " , I dont know if the phrase " BEFORE it is preserved refers to all 3 concerns or just the room temperature. If all 3, then my plan with LabCorp is the best. If not, maybe Metametrix because I prepare the aliquot myself so i would know not to shake. Guest guest
We did the Labbio test for my 3 kids. I collected the kids' first-morning urine using an opaque cup in a dark bathroom (no window but there was some light from a window outside the door), and had pre-labeled the sample tube so I could put it into the UV bag right away. It then went right into the padded mailer envelope and got sent off. We got moderate to 'remarkable' porphyrin readings, no false negative. But I have heard of several false negative reports from friends. I agree it's not an essential test and the danger is that it convinces parents not to chelate when in fact there are gains to be had.
