Guest guest
Sharon, I do not think I would give both at the same time. The Vermox is a 3 day treatment, followed by 3 more days, I guess, in about 3 weeks if I remember correctly. I loved Vermox! It made a huge difference in my child's comfort and took away the itching in less than 48 hours. I hope you see the same. It has been one of my top 5 interventions. Guest guest
I would go with the Vermox. Even my Naturopath told me to go with it. Guest guest
Hi  I have also been giving my daughter black walnut (from Brainchild Nutritionals) for parasites and she is constantly scratching her backside. Also, it has affected her peeing, She seems to not  pee as often when she is on it.  I would like to do Vermox, but my daughter has enterocolitis and the information leaflet says it is contracindicated for anyone who has colitis. I wonder if anyone has had a bad experience with Vermox?  Thank you  Elena --- Στις ΤÏίτ., 08/03/11, ο/η vickiwaihi <vickiwaihi@...> ÎγÏαψε: Από: vickiwaihi <vickiwaihi@...> ΘÎμα: [ ] Re: Parasites & vermex Î Ïος: ΗμεÏομηνία: ΤÏίτη, 8 ΜάÏτιος 2011, 0:25  I would go with the Vermox. Guest guest
The thing is, it takes more herbs than just Black walnut to eliminate parasites. We use a blend that contains things like wormwood, clove, black walnut. You have to kill the eggs as well as the adults. > > > > > > I have been giving ds black walnut hull for the past week. Guest guest
They probably say this b/c they don't want it to get into open sores in the colon. Consider low dose, followed by activated charcoal 2 hours later. OR, try diatamceous earth for a few months first to clean up the colon. My husband recovered from crohn's disease from a combination of clindamycin, rifampin and flagyl. I feel strongly that colitis and other intestinal disease is infectious. Probably parasites Caryn > > > > > > I have been giving ds black walnut hull for the past week. Guest guest
Hi Caryn  What you wrote is very interesting. My daughter does have open sores in her colon - I will be careful with Vermox.  Can I ask how long your husband was on clindamycin, rifampin and flagyl? It's wonderful that he recovered, can you give us any more information on this?  Thank you  Elena --- Στις ΤÏίτ., 08/03/11, ο/η Caryn_Reid <caryn_reid@...> ÎγÏαψε: Από: Caryn_Reid <caryn_reid@...> ΘÎμα: [ ] Re: Parasites & vermex Î Ïος: ΗμεÏομηνία: ΤÏίτη, 8 ΜάÏτιος 2011, 16:09  They probably say this b/c they don't want it to get into open sores in the colon. Guest guest
Caryn, that is an intersting thought, colitis due to parasites, my son has colitis, was told it was measles from the vaccine, they took a tisue sample and tested it at mt sinai in NY. but I bet all the infections contribute... we just crashed bad from albenza and alinia and are having to stop the bug killing and go back to basics of clearing and opening detox pathways and work on sulfation and methylation pathways and organs detoxed first, we cant seem to handle a drop of anything, prescription or natural. deborah > > > > > > > > I have been giving ds black walnut hull for the past week. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing. I would definitely try the diatamaceous earth then. It if more of a binder and actually only kills parasites by cutting them. It also absorbs them and their toxins, so it should not make him worse. http://www.wolfcreekranch.net/diatomaceous_earth.html Caryn > > > > > > > > > > I have been giving ds black walnut hull for the past week. Guest guest
If parsites are cut up by diatamaceous earth, wouldn't this also damage the colon more? just seems strange to use something like this in an injured gut. We've used vermox with no problems at all and my kid is a gut kid. Biociden throat spray is working for this too, every 2weeks. Worm treatments herbals are also effective by rubbing on the feet. Another option maybe the zapper. Pumpkin seed oil puts them to sleep for 2 hours, make sure you give something to make your child poop or you can give this with a meal prior to routine poop schedule to keep them coming out.
