Well, first, you've got to be sure you have NO amalgams in your mouth. If

you ahve them, they need to be removed safely by a knowledgeable dentist.

Then you need to by Dr. Andy Cutler's book " Amalgam Illness. " You need to

read and study it and begin to make your plan. It can take three to five

years to get he mercury out and be well again.

If you have not used chelators according to Dr. Cutler's protocol of dosing

on the half-life, then you could get sicker. His method is the safest " low

and slow " and takes commitment on your part.

Keep searching for a doc who might at least run some labs for you or order a

hair test from Doctor's Data to see if you meet the rules of counting.

Most using the AC Protocol use DMSA and then add ALA in at some point.

Others use DMPS, but for DMPS you need a doctor's prescription. You can buy

DMSA and ALA just about anywhere, but many get it from Kirkman's or vrp.com.

Thank you so much for responding to my post!! First off i have taken alpha

lipoic acid and i feel much worse because i did not follow a protocol. I felt

the mercury move to my brain and now I have vision and severe short term memory

problems. I have done a hear analysis test but it has come back not saying

anything on mercury. I don't believe it though, because autism is just the

symptoms of mercury poisoning and the more i take mercury chelators the less

autistic i become. The test must have not picked up the mercury somehow, because

I know i have something extremely toxic inside my gut, brain and chest. I'm

wondering if this Dr. Cutler's protocol works the same on mercury from vaccines

as opposed to amalgam tooth fillings?

Mercury is mercury once it is stored in the body. It will be handled equally

with a chelator, whether you were exposed to mercury via vaccines or dental

amalgams.

I read your first post. Slow down on what you are using for chelation.

Vomiting should never be part of the protocol. If you are going to use ALA

again, reduce the dose to 1/4 mg per lb of weight (not kg) per dose and take it

every 3 hours. See how you feel. I would stop the suppositories and buy oral

DMSA from vrp.com if you can. They sell 25mg capsules, which is a much more

appropriate way to begin chelation for those who are more sensitive.

Many of us do chelation alone. Why don't you join the other

(adult-metal-chelation and frequent-dose-chelation) for more specific guidance.

They are geared toward adults.

My guess is you can find a list of necessary supplements for chelation support

in the Files section. Oh, and remove any amalgams.

You can do this without huge expense. If you have access to medical care, I

would recommend a baseline series of blood tests: CBC and Metabolic Panel.

Those can be requested, typically, without divulging you are planning to chelate

for heavy metal toxicity. From these you can determine if you are starting out

with any liver or kidney compromise and go from there. You do not need to

repeat these tests regularly, despite what an MD will tell you (unless you have

a serious issue to monitor).
