Chlorella vs AC Method

Just saw DAN who says porphyrins show metals and also high oxylates (he also has

high copper levels). DAN knows we're very wary of chelation and suggested we use

Chlorella. According to info I read from Andy Cutler you shouldn't use Chorella

since it moves metals too slowly and could get stuck ad make it worse. Anyone

had any experience with this? Don't know which way to go.

I would listen to Andy. We were scared of chelation too. IV did not go so

well for my son and we were scared to start AC, but we did, and we are glad

we did. We have seen some major improvement in some areas and he continues

to improve.

I accidentally used chlorella in a greens supplement trying to alkalinize my son

when he first started regressing. He got REALLY sick, really regressed, really

bad.

I would NOT recommend it.

My son is now officially recovered, his diagnosis is removed. We used AC

chelation protocol. I fired 2 DAN doctors and did it on my own. Both DAN doctors

I used made my son worse. IMO, the vast majority of DAN doctors are NOT

recovering kids, and not even much helping them. They sure make plenty of money

though.

Hi, How many rounds did you do before you felt he was recovered? So you did it

completely with no help from a doctor?

,

I agree. it would be nice if we could use them and tell them what we want

them to do, but they push towards their own expensive agendas.

Who did you go to if you wanted a CBC or other tests?

No, I do not " feel " he is recovered. His ATEC went from a 65 to a 6. The doctor

we saw each year for an assessment/eval officially removed is ASD diagnosis. He

met and exceeded ALL his goals in ALL his therapies. He graduated from speech,

sensory, OT, PT, behavioral therapies. He has NO therapies. He only has

psychological counseling every other week (he was old enough to remember

regressing and had a bad hospital experience one time which left him with PTSD).

He is like every other kid in our neighborhood - he has friends, goes to

birthday parties, we travel, and no one would know he ever had an ASD dx unless

I tell them, and then they are shocked and frankly don't believe me. He is also

highly gifted and that is apparent quickly when speaking with him and people

assume that I somewhow " misunderstood " him being smart for autism. That is not

the case: again his ATEC was a 65 at time of diagnosis.

He had lost his potty training, was verbal but usually only 2 word (nonsense)

sentences. He lost a ton of weight. He had huge viral issues, as well, so we had

GI problems constantly. Severe sensory issues. We barely left the house the

first year after he regressed, as getting him dressed usually resulted in me

getting kicked, bit, punched - black eyes, bruises, blood, and even a concussion

here and there were my daily life from trying to raise my four year old. He as

severely aggressive and violent. We pulled him out of preschool and enrolled him

in a special needs preschool.

For AC chelation I did NOT use a doctor. I did not use ANY doctor for supplments

or chelation. I had 2 hair tests run - one when my child was first diagnosed,

and one taken the week his diagnosis was removed.

He had no other testing run during that time. He saw our open minded DO family

doc once a year for a brief checkup and that was it.

I read, studied, dug out physiology texts to refresh, bought books on holistic

nutrition and herbs, and scoured Dana's site and this group. I learned " muscle

testing " (Applied Kinesiology) which is considered malarky by many, but it

worked here -can't argue with the results. I do body/energy work for a living,

though.

We chelated 3 weekends out of 4, sometimes every other for almost 2 years before

we reached the point of losing the dx. I did boatloads of other things with AC

chelation, from a holistic health/energy medicine standpoint, and therapies (not

ABA, though) too. I worked with him, with or without therapists daily, most of

the day. Sort of my own individualized mishmash of RDI/Sonrise. Whatever worked.

About 4 months before his dx was removed, his ATEC was down in the mid teens and

we found a homeopathist (who does happen to be a holistic only MD, but formerly

was a pediatrician) I felt was knowledgable and understood how I approached

healing for my child. We started classical homeopathy WITH chelation (not

instead of) and saw more gains, and more viral issues clear up (we have down

repeated courses of viral supplements, too). Four months later his dx was

removed. He's doing fantastic today (6 months later). He takes very minimal

supplements, parasite herbs and yeast treatment as needed, we continue to

chelate until the mercury levels come down some more. We continue with

homeopathy.

Haven,

I did not get those tests. We had no need for them. If I really, really had

wanted a test, I believe our family doc (a fairly open minded DO) would have

ordered them for me, but she would not order anything " not typical " like a hair

test. She would have had to justify it to the practice. But we had no testing

run. My son had PTSD from a bad hospital experience and we ONLY take blood if it

is very, very seriously needed.

Thanks .

I had a very open-minded DO when we started biomed. She was will ing to

consult with ANDY but I blew it at the time. She is now retried.

I am searching for an open-minded DO for all of us. How did you find

yours? I wish she was in North Texas!

I was giving chair massages at a hospital to employees as a way to give back to

the community and promote business. I had some open minded DO's (women) come in

for massages and one asked me to do a spa party at her house (I had a business

partner at the time who sold organic spa products and cosmetics and was a

beautician). When I went to her house and we got to chatting I found out her

husband was an integrative MD who used TCM and acupuncture in his regular

practice (he only worked with adults though). I told them my concerns about

finding a new family physician/ped and they recommended someone. I researched

her, and scheduled an appt to find out how open minded she would be with my son.

I walked out with a new doctor and a medical exemption for my son's vax's.

I gave up on Pediatricians and started searching for an integrative doctor or

family physician. Ask around in your natural health community (massage

therapists, chiro's, etc.) and see who they use.
