Guest guest
If you're having it compounded you can request that the dye be left out. Otherwise you can order from www.vrp.com . S S DMSA with blue dye Posted by: " o9171o " 091710@... o9171o Sun Feb 27, 2011 6:00 am (PST) We have been chelating for awhile and just had a cytotoxic test done on our son. He came back as having reactions to blue and red food coloring (dye). We have seen reactions to red dye if he accidentally gets it in food. (We do not give them things with food coloring.) However, this last batch of dmsa was bluer than others and when i called the pharmacist she confirmed that it has blue food coloring in it (to distinguish dosage). Could the blue dye be causing the horrible behavior/meltdowns that we see when we go on a round? Does anyone use a dye free Dmsa? This round we are just doing ALA. He is doing great! I want to get all the metals out, but not give him the dyes.
