Guest guest
My son has been sick for eight days now with a fever on and off. When should I think about giving him an antibiotic? Is there one type of antibiotic that is better then another? I hate seeing him this way. Thanks
Guest guest
There is a virus going about here, I'm in Wisconsin. Fever for like 5 days plus. A couple of my sons friends have had it too. We had a low fever for like 5 days then gone a few days. Very bad sore throat with that, not strep either. Then a major fever 103+ and one pink eye and then a cold remaining. Just a virus per our ped and she was right. So...hang in there. Tammy [ ] Antibiotic or not? My son has been sick for eight days now with a fever on and off. Guest guest
You need to find out what is causing the fever. Things like this need profesional guidance. There are many alternatives to antibiotics and many different types of antibiotics, but you need to know what you're treating. Guest guest
I agree, is it viral or a bacterial? Also, instead of a pharma antibiotic (which would only make a virus condition worse as it kills the good gut flora), you might want to seek out allicin - it comes in 180mg, 360mg and 450mg. Neem capsules also go after bacteria, viruses, fungus. We use colloidal silver as well. Lin > > My son has been sick for eight days now with a fever on and off.
