Guest guest
I suppose many dentists still use amalgam in their work. I've instructed ours over 15 years ago not to use it with our family and that really isn't so much an issue with us. Trying it out as you did seems to be the basis of your point (perhaps?) and might be worth others trying for themselves (that we haven't gone through worse) in that respect. I recommend as much, as you did, no less I figure you're basically right in what you've done and are saying Haven, where everyone might be different to a certain extent, worth trying for themselves given their particular situation (I have a questionable metal post securing one of my teeth, and not finding a problem with ALA chelating, but nothing much good happening either, so, who knows. To each their own. At least we all here reading as much have a better perspective on things and what to try by as much, I figure. Guest guest
I'm not a big fan of groups with such an access and communication policy. I suppose they're not big fans of me, of mine, either. Can't people see the truth inherent in such a thing, as a closed door? Sheesh. No. I don't buy excuses. The RFA group isn't doing me any favours. To me what that's about is worse than autism, if not somewhat the essence of autism, (what they charge the autistic as?) but I don't find the autistic so *bad.* Maybe they're not powerful enough to be so bad, who knows. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, they say, with no mention of autism being any different in that respect No. That wouldn't be a vote of confidence for the RFA group, but than, I don't give very many groups my vote of confidence.. . It's just like that I find, and that's somewhat what I do about It, like it or not? (I don't like politics? I can't stand the crap) I more than hope we're like me in that respect.. . I won't even try to access what is so difficult to access, be sure? There are many people around just asking for help, many if not most with their doors open, I find (Where we would just look for as much?) Those are the ones I'd prefer to have a relationship with, to help even if not especially. I figure the others should know what their problem is, by now? .. . Guest guest
As of 2/14 9:00 p.m. PST, the RFA group is closed. If you're able to post on the group's messageboard, Haven, could you query when they'll be open for new members again, please? I found another group specifically for Southern California, and joined them, for the interim. I wondered too, if anyone knew if Dr. McCandless is still practicing in LA County. I tried to call her office, but the number was no longer in service. If I can get a hold of her, my husband and I would like to schedule an appointment. Any suggestions in trying to get in touch with her? Sheila

Guest guest
Sheila, i just posted the query. I will let you know. It is the first I heard of it. In defense of the group, the moderators are trying to help A LOT of other moms while trying to heal their own children and hold jobs etc... I will let you know when I get an answer. Dana on this group is VERY knowledgeable have you read danasview? Google it. This will also help a lot. Haven

Guest guest
Maybe it's just a temporary thing (disorder?), like we don't all get those. I hope? I would wait and see for that, where I would even have an interest in joining the group, (join?) of however it works when it works. I don't think so, though, not at this time anyhow. I've found out a lot of things on my own, somewhat this way, actually, if not right here! I'm not thinking things could work better than this. Glavic Strangely, with autism, (not saying I have it) perhaps, I don't really find silence is golden, though I find much silence, or something like it? (Meaninglessness, perhaps. I am trying to find the meaning in things, oh, yes, be so sure, Thereof) I don't have any intention of going back to school at this time either, now, where I have found the more direct approach of communication (for what I need, for my self, that there could be more to teaching? of the Socratic method, perhaps) more captivating, that that doesn't entail an education of sorts (of reason, itself?) and takes me where I should go? of what I Feel? as Understand? .. . (I also felt I got a *lot* of crap/abuse in school) There's a place for school and books in *that* respect, no doubt, that would support as much, I Figure! That simplifying the matter for a greater understanding of more isn't the thing, (that moves us to where we should be going in that respect?) but I Feel It Is! That isn't so much for knowledge for its own sake, NO. I don't want any part of that anymore.. . Perhaps the RFA group is trying to be normal where I'm trying to be more reasonable? .. . (I'm not so sure normal is even better than a lot of autism? so, I'm using another standard? .. . That might be It! Thanks for your considerate thoughts and feelings in that respect I hope all becomes better (more meaningful, and less abusive) by as much. More than hope, actually! (I'm pretty sure the RFA group too will benefit from as much) Best wishes. > > > > > > > > > > > Haven, > > > > > > Is this the RFA you're talking about? > > > http://recoveryfromautism.com/ > > > > > > Sheila > > > > > > > No, this is not the one. go to > > > > > > > RecoveryFromAutism/ > > > > > > > check to see if it has been temporarily closed to new members. Guest guest
No worries, Haven. I'm not in a rush since I've got a lot to read now, including Dana's website.
