Guest guest
My understanding is that OoO is good for treating fungal stuff and certain bacteria. I used it a lot for lung infections for a long time, as well as fungal exposures. For anti-viral, I did vitamins A and E or lysine. I also worked on ph balance and that helped a lot. Guest guest
I learned of vitamin A for virii when trying to treat persistent warts in my sons. You can take up to 100,000 units/day for a month safely. That is a protocol for treating warts. But it wasn't working for my son. Then we found out he had a form of cystic fibrosis and people with CF don't absorb things well. We upped the dose to 160,000 units per day for six weeks. That seemed to clear the warts but it was really much, much later when we finally cleared them up completely. Dana fairly often talks about virii needing to 'come out' and how your symptoms get worse before they get better. When my oldest son finally really cleared the wart virus from his system, he went through a period of having very bad warts before it finally cleared up. I have also gone through periods where I had die-off rashes from the stuff clearing my system. I have had several different patterns of die-off rashes, which I assume represents several different specific organisms dying off. I still sometimes have strep die-off (not a virus, actually a bacteria). It feels like a light case of strep but there are some differences. I've never figured out how to put in to words the difference between the symptoms when it is a die-off thing versus when it is a new/active infection. I guess part of it is that you get the deeper symptoms, like weakness, but usually without the superficial symptoms like a sore throat. I assume that is because it is coming out of the deeper tissues -- at least in my case. Strep tends to settle in the heart and joints and that is where I have had my major die-off symptoms for strep. I was very, very ill and I ended up taking vitamin a, vitamin e and OLE pretty much daily for close to two years to clear a huge backlog of infections. It was a tough time. I had chronic diarrhea and die-off rashes for much of that time. I also went through periods of sleeping a great deal. I hope that helps. Guest guest
I am planning to give low sulphur diet for my Son apart from being GFCFSF. Does Oil of Oregano have Sulphur or thoils? Any Suggestions? Thanks.
Guest guest
Hi BJ, You don't have to eat that much olive oil if you don't want to. The main oil to eat is coconut oil. After that, you could have butter and other animal fats like duck and goose fat or lard. Olive oil is good for you, too, so don't avoid it entirely. The mild-flavoured kind is perfectly fine to eat. Bee no longer recommends that we take oil of oregano internally, so there is nothing to worry about there. Welcome to the group! Group Moderator > > Hello! > > I am a newbie. I have started collecting the supplements for this journey towards improved health. I have been reading the articles on the web site. I am concerned that the oil of oregano, even mixed down with the coconut oil, will be too strong of a taste for me. Is there a gel cap or tablet that I can take instead? or will I need to dilute it down more and take more drops to get the same results? What are your recomendations? > > Thank you so much! > BJ >
