Guest guest
Remember the liver is where all the TOXINS end up. With our environmental picture as it is now, I would NEVER eat anything's liver. Barb [ ] Re: eating liver for health Forgot to add that I use calfs liver, not the adult cow. With organic grass fed calfs liver, youre not dealing with the hormones, antibiotics and many of the toxins that youd find in grain fed or older cattle. Guest guest
Don't forget that pregnancy in any animal chelates toxins to the baby - especially the first born, so eating a calf liver as opposed to an adult may not matter. I would stay away from any organ meat where toxins are filtered such as livery and kidney. I would never eat the intestines of any animal either.
