Could be bacteria. When you kill off the yeast, bacteria or viruses can fill in

the void. Probiotics and maybe Sacc B can help. OLE is a good anti-viral.

give him an enzyme with each meal. He's currently GFCF and is taking 2 drops of

GSE w/ No-Phenol, & OLE in the mornings for the past two months. We had an

issue with Culturelle that didn't let him sleep well so we stopped using it.

Should I discontinue the GSE and increase his OLE dosage? What's a gentle

probiotic that won't cause sleep issues, if there is any? Thanks for your

response:)

Give activated charcoal when this happens. Try to keep a log of his diet and

what causes this. Sounds like a food intolerance. I would start giving

cultured vegetables (sauerkraut, coconut kefir, body ecology recipe, etc.) Our

son needed more than GFCF, he needed to be free of soy, chocolate, artificial

colors/flavors, MSG (natural flavors, unidentified " spices " ). He eats mostly

fruits, vegetables, meat, rice, potatoes, olive oil, coconut oil, honey, etc.

There is enough for him and good nutrition. It might be good to start there and

then add foods and see how he reacts to each.

Id leave the GSE and OLE in place. I keep the anti-virals, antifungals and

probiotics going at the same time. Ive found that as soon as I drop one, it

becomes a problem. As long as your keeping the probiotics a couple of hours

away from the rest, its fine.

Were you giving a full dose of culturelle? It could be that it was too high.

We give 4 different probiotics at bedtime, Custom Probiotics CP-1, Power

Acidolphus, Culturelle and VSL#3. We havent had any problems with them, but we

worked up to a full dose slowly.
