Guest guest
I don't know what it is, but I posted awhile back that my son had a vertically striped BM before, and it has happened again since. It was dark on one side and light on the other. Someone said maybe the metals are heavier and go to one side, I have no idea, it was definitely related to chelating though. Liz > > I hate to be so graphic, but I hope the subject line might have prepared you for what follows, lol. We've had a few very strange BMs from our two year old. We use antimicrobials with him for presumed yeast and bacteria issues, based on behaviors and such. We took a break from them for a stool test (anxiously awaiting results still) and since getting him back onto them, he's been severely bloated, hyper (probably yeast) and slightly constipated (not going as much as usual), but still going. Some of them have been hard and dark, but he has no problem passing them, although they are few and far between compared to normal. Then today when he went it was very strange looking, some of it darker brown, some lighter, and a very odd combination of textures. When I dumped it in the toilet, the section that looked dark and hard was actually little balls (about 3/4 of inch each) all linked together by a central strand of something. They were evenly spaced, so weird. So it looked like a row of dark balls, mostly the same size, held together by a piece of something that looked like a string (but more fibrous). The strand was probably 4 inches long. And it SMELLED! Then shortly after that BMs, he went again and it was a huge loose one, very pale, but still brown, just very light compared to the other one. This one was even stinkier! > > I know I have seen these weird strung together BMs before, maybe twice, and it might have been during die off too, but I can't remember exactly. > > Has anyone else seen this sort of strange looking thing? Guest guest
When my son had this, it was some sort of yeast die-off, or something that was causing issues in the gut. I believe it was like some sort of " stuff " lining the intestine that come along on the way out (not to be gross and graphic, sorry). It happened with my son after I added biotin. And has happened once or twice since then when we've had to re-add, or increase GSE and or Biotin. > > > > I hate to be so graphic, but I hope the subject line might have prepared you for what follows, lol. Guest guest
Yup I've seen and had something like that. DH has had one. My best friend had one. My mentor/other best friend had one. My colonic therapy teacher had one. It sounds like a tapeworm. Yeauch, huh? Except it's dead and it's out! Usually they die before they come out, so come out pretty putrid, but still like a long string of segments. WHen you do a parasite cleanse and/or liver cleansing type stuff they die and come out. I'll tell you what my colonic therapy teacher told me--if it's a tapeworm, there'll be another one tomorrow. Gurgling and bloating in upper left area of belly is often common predecessor to passing the worm (usually that kind of gurgling goes on in liver area on right). Everyone I've ever coached thru one (just friends and family) has passed two, just like my teacher told me. I thought he was a genius at the time. Read Hulda 's the Cure for All Diseases, do a web search for images of tapeworm after a colonic, and you'll get to compare it with others to see if that's what it is, but I'd say sounds like a well-dead tapeworm to me. Bloating also very common. They attach to the ileum and dangle and grow into the intestine. Pork tapeworm is particularly damaging to the body--the eggs are found at the center of cancer tumors, and they can migrate to any organ or part of the body. When the tapeworm in the intestines die, they detach, rot, and then have to be eliminated. Charcoal might help. Black walnut tincture is what most people use for killing tapeworms--or a paste of pumpkin seeds. Carrot juice/grated carrot also good vermifuges to help it out. My old herbalist lived in SE Asia for a while, where she had pigs living under her bed. She ate a bowl of soaked and ground pumpkin seeds with honey and passed a bowlful of worms. Dead ones, of course, pretty nasty. You can fish it out with a sieve. Some people see them as a badge of honor. I know I was pretty darn excited the day it happened first. I took pics, sent them to my mentor, showed em to my colonic teacher, etc etc. Friends did the same for me. I'd get a call, emailed photos, and we'd all celebrate!Even DH, a man's man, got pretty excited when he passed his first one(two). The way you do a para cleanse is you take a break for a little while (a week or two), then resume. You may have unintentionally hit the tapeworm's egglaying and lifecycle in exactly the right way. You can check it in Hulda 's books or do a search for her para cleanse instructions. She explains the protocol. But tapeworms can get killed in all kinds of ways. We're in middle of all this now too. There's a horrible feeling as they die but before you pass them. Then you feel all perky. My DH has been singing in the car--last week he was like satan's twin--we've been doing the para cleanse for about three weeks now. The amount of pooping going on here is pretty impressive. Another possibility is intestinal " rope " --old fecal matter that cakes the lining of colon, preventing absorption of nutrition, esp B vitamins. You can check images of those and see what you think. It's not an exact science, and in either case, it's a major score for such a young child. People work long and hard for either of these things. best wishes, Fiona > > I hate to be so graphic, but I hope the subject line might have prepared you for what follows, lol. Guest guest
I definitely think its metals/die off-that horrible smell. 3 times my son has had what I call " toxic dumps " .Twice his BMs smelled so bad it made me vomit and I had to bath him to get the smell off.Another time he woke up in the middle of the night screaming " help me " and vomited twice-again HORRENDOUS smell. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years,a nurse 13 of those and these were the worst things I ever smelled. TOXIC like I said, but afterwards we saw AMAZING gains so I thought it was metals or viral die off. ________________________________ From: G <luckylot@...> Sent: Sat, February 5, 2011 7:24:38 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Strange BM - what is this?  That IS strange Liz! Guest guest
Speaking of parasitic worms, check to see if there are pinworms too. I can't remember where I read/heard this from, but 10-40% of children have it at any given time. Usually bum itchiness is a sign of it, and you can see the worms coming out after they've died. Black walnut and wormwood are used in para cleansing too. > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. DH has had one. My best friend had one. My mentor/other best friend had one. Guest guest
Also, high dose CoQ10 is used to kill tapeworms. It is given on day five of worm treatment and then repeated about every 5 days. http://www..net/en/hulda_clark/parasites/ascris_tapeworms.php > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. Guest guest
Hmmm, Fiona, now you have me thinking. We've done parasite cleanses in the past (last one was like 4 months ago maybe) and I don't recall if the last time this happened, were we doing that cleanse or not? But my kids eat a LOT of pumpkin seeds weekly. I make pancakes with ground pumpkin seeds and I make their substitute milk with them also, so they get a lot of pumpkin. About a week before this incident, we stopped their antimicrobials for a few days to prepare for a DNA stool test (it should tell us if there are worms too, from a DNA level) and then while trying to get him back up to speed, his die off seemed to include this. We also started glyconutrients about a month ago (although I stopped with him, because he developed a rash that still hasn't gone away). His BMs are still strange, but no additional strands of weirdness. They are literally half constipated and have loose, even still connected, it's SO weird. He's been pretty hyper too, not falling asleep as easily as he used to, bloating bad, but that is nothing new. The only other thing that has me thinking worms (and I have wondered about this for a while now) is that he doesn't gain weight. He's been small since birth, but he gains so slowly. He's two and a half and only 27 pounds. He's little for his age. I don't recall it looking like a worm though. There were balls of stool connected to it every inch or so. Would that be a worm? Darn, now I wish I took a picture!! It was hard to see the strand under the stool really, I just know it was all connected, especially when it was tossed into the potty, it floated around connected. Sorry, ha ha ha ha. GROSS! We do use CoQ10 every day, not the high doses that Hulda talks about though. Her protocol scares me a little when it comes to tape worm. But at one point, for my husband and I at minimum, I scoped out some high dose CoQ10 and considered it, but then decided against it. I may look for photos (ACK) of the " rope " and see if I can confirm or rule anything else out. I'm hoping it's that, I think...sigh. > > > > I hate to be so graphic, but I hope the subject line might have prepared you for what follows, lol. Guest guest
HI Caryn, I have a little question about CoQ10 and parasites/ microbes. Its a strong Antioxidant, doesnt it make the parasite stronger as well(hard to eradicate)? I have heard this from my LLMD, prooxidants kill them and antioxidants help them, what do you think??? Guest guest
I am not an expert on this. However, from what I do understand, I think you need to do high dose to kill. Low dose may feed. We had babesia, a protozoa and have taken mepron long term, which depletes coQ10 and we did great on this. We have also done well on septra for bartonella which depletes folic acid, yet helped my apraxic son speak. Many take folic acid for speech. Guest guest
Hi Caryn, Thanks. My son has also done Mepron for an year for Babesia. However I didn't know that it depletes CoQ10. If it does, then I should add it on full force, as oil metabolism seems to be a problem now, worse than before.. Is there any article that helps to understand Mepron and CoQ10 interaction, or why you think former depletes the later? Sasmita > > > > > > > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. Guest guest
3000mg for an adult of up to 155 pounds (so I would cut it down based on weight for a child). It's a single dose in the early part of the day (since CoQ10 can make it hard to fall asleep if taken too late) and it taken once every 5-7 days until the person is well. If there are any pork tapeworms involved, Dr. also recommends using L-Cysteine and aerated organic olive oil. > > > > > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. DH has had one. Guest guest
Co Q 10 depletion is the method by which mepron kills babesia/protozoa. It interrupts coq10 metabolism. I have found oily stools, poor fat metabolism and waxy ears to be a symptom of worms. I know these symptoms are generally considered mitochondrial disfunction. Possibly it is worms that cause mito issues? Caryn > > > > > > > > > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. DH has had one. My best friend had one. My mentor/other best friend had one. Guest guest
So does this mean that giving 30mg a day would be considered a " feeding " low dose? How do you dose? Also, if I could ask, how did you determine there was babesia and bartonella? We had our son tested for Lyme back when he reacted to his 12 month vaccinations, which came back negative, but I am not convinced, since I know there can be high false negatives. > > > > > > > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. Guest guest
I think 3,000 mg are recommended to kill parasites. My son works with a LLMD. His first western blot was negative. I took my son to a LLMD anyway and he treated him based on symptoms. 3 months later his test had lyme specific bands, although still not a CDC criteria positive. He has responded very well to treatment, losing many " autistic " symptoms. He was later tested positive for multiple strains of babesia through 3 labs, 1 was positive. He responded amazingly to mepron. I then had a suspicion of bartonella based on my LLMD's dx of bartonella in me and he was positive for that too. I know that antibiotics are not the most popular course of treatment in the autism world, but they have been a miracle for my son. I think they negative is that they eventually made his worm infection worse, but I think otherwise I may never have found them. Guest guest
3000mg even for a child? I know that is the adult dose. Guest guest
I have not tried this protocol. However, I believe the dose is for the worms, not for the human. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Yup I've seen and had something like that. DH has had one. My best friend had one.
