Guest guest
Hello Parents, I recv'd my 17 yr old son's Genova Diagnostics IgG Food Antibody Assessment Results. I am shocked to see the results. Devastating! What do I feed my child with so many food allergies? Pl. help me interpret the results. Higly Allergic 3+ (Clam, Corn, Lima Beans). Does that mean I cannot feed him Corn Tortillas for Corn Wraps? Moderate 2+ Buckwheat, Pinto Bean (He does not eat these so how does the results show 2+ allergic) Low 1+ Chicken, Beef, Wheat, Salmon, Trout, apple, Lamb, Lentil. Does that mean I cannot feed him these anymore? He loves non-veg!!!! (and many more listed in the report) Very Low Allergic: Red Snapper, Turkey, Yeast, Rice, Pea, Potato Sweet, tomato, zucchini, kidney bean, (and many more listed that I don't care about) Zero Allergic: to egg, banana, corn gluten and many more listed. How is this corn gluten different from the above Highly allergic 3+ corn??? What's the difference between corn gluten and corn? Can I feed my child corn tortillas with the daiya cheese? I'm so confused. Currently, my child is on GF,CF, Feingold diet stage 1 diet for the past 15 years. He was never been allergic to chicken, beef, rice, salmon, lentil, zucchini. We had his last IgG food test done 2 years back and now the new results are extremely SHOCKING! What will I feed my kid? Currently, my child eats Rice, chicken, beef, turkey, fish, all indian lentils, cabbage, potato, garbanzo beans, kidney beans, black eye beans, peas, carrots, Darifree milk, Gluten free pantry cakes, muffins, Waffles. Does that mean: All the 3+ food should be 100% removed from his diet? What about 1+ food and Very Low food allergies? How should I do his diet now? Pl. Note: My child is a super sensitive child and has never, never, never done well with any probiotics ever in his life. He takes only Magnesium 200 mg in the night to help him with his constipation. I am so worried and don't know what to feed him now. How can I help him? Pl. help me. Thank you so much. Regards, AR
