Guest guest
You didn't say if he were on any special diet. You said he had been really moody and irritable the last couple of days. the cake and ice cream was yesterday. I only know for us that regular (gluten, casein-containing cake) would be disastrous for my son. He turns into " Mr. Hyde " whenever he gets thee proteins. Whenever i see changes in behavior and mood, I always look at diet first asking myself what has he eaten -- especially from between the time he seemed like himself and the onset of the change in behavior. It is possible it could be die off, but then I would think you should push through. Sometimes GSE can cause some phenolic issues. It has here. Our son gets red ears, but I give him the GSE at the same time as an enzyme to cover phenolic. Cake and ice cream are full of sugar and bad carbs which are only going to feed yeast, so giving cake and ice cream defeats the purpose of trying to kill yeast. I know at a family gathering once, one of our extended family members sneaked our son some no-no food. He changed, and we knew someone did it. They just didn't really get it in the beginning, but we talked to everyone and asked that they respect what we were trying to do. Seeing how well our son has done has made believers out of them. Many people just don't understand that when you are trying to fight yeast, even a little sugar can hurt a lot and defeat the purpose. Are you chelating? If so, with what and what protocol? Athlete's foot is generally fungus. I know when we first started GSE our son got his first pimple the next day. We've been pushing through. Have you thought of his adrenals? I know when my son gets really hyper and anxious, we have given a little ACE with very good results. We just started with GSE, biotin, and ACE a month ago, along with starting the AC Protocol and teh yeast beast is the hardest to control for us, so I think youahve to be very careful diet-wise. Guest guest
The bumps sound like die-off, we had them here. Your son may have a phenol issue so give the gse with an enzyme that addresses that. How much gse and probiotics? When do you give it? Guest guest
I was just googling a bunch of stuff but I was read an abstracted quote basically saying you need to first detox the metals before addressing yeast issues. That addressing yeast first will rerelease the mercury back into the bloodstream making symptoms worse. These past couple of days I gave my dd some gse and bee propolis and she started thevday super hyperactive and more aggressive so I'm going to stop and rethink my plans. > > Hi all, > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with increased probiotics. At my house, yeast tended to migrate around in the body before leaving. This sounds like what you are seeing. I would keep the GSE, give it with No-Fenol for the hyper issue. You might also add biotin. Dana

I've got biotin on the way, will order some No-Fenol. I'm giving him Nutribiotic Graprefruit Seed Extract 125 mg, 1 per day. Should I increase it? Guest guest
, did you give two tabs GSE at a time? or what times did you give it? I've ordered No Fenol so will wait til it arrives to up the dose. He already takes mag for constipation issues, I may have to increase the dose on that too. He's taking 150-200mg of mag split 3x/day. thanks for your help, > >> > >> > Hi all, > >> > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with increased > >>probiotics. Guest guest
I would recommend a different probiotic. I never found the Swanson probiotics to help, they don't provide enough units, not even for me. Custom Probiotics has worked wonders for us!! I can't speak highly enough about them. I give our boys 400+ billion CFUs at night and at no other time throughout the day, but we do give kefir water drinks in between antimicrobial doses during the day. I give the antimicrobials (300mg GSE-2 tablets, 4 drops OoO-BioAlternatives, 500mg OLE-Swanson and 10mg Biotin) three times a day for our 40 pound 5 year old. We used to have major Clostridia and moderate yeast and his last stool test (Metametrix DNA microbiology test) was perfect! I would like to see his good bacteria a bit higher, but there was NO yeast, bacteria or parasites! I wish I could say the same for our two year old, he had a parasite, but we have been working with him for half the time, we are getting there. Have you looked into Andy Cutler chelation?? That has been our saving grace. We are only on round 46 with our 5 year old and already I see TONS of great changes. Here is the link for my blog, if you would like to check out our journey, there is LOTS of information there - http://grayson-youarewhatyoueat.blogspot.com/ I just wrote today about the emotions surrounding our stool test results... > > > > > Hi all, > > > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with increased probiotics. Guest guest
, thanks for the advice. I have read your blog, you have a lot of great information, thank you! I've been reading a lot on Cutlers chelation, am also a member of frequent dose chelation and have been learning there too. We have not done it yet because I want to wait and have a hair test done first (which we will hopefully do soon). Also, I will have to have proof that he needs it as my hubby otherwise won't likely go for it. > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with increased probiotics. Guest guest
, Isn't that high dose of magnesium recommended for those that are chelating? I would think otherwise it would depend on the individual need. The reason I say that is because I've giving him higher doses at one point when he was impacted and it made him extremely lethargic. Maybe I'm wrong, just seems like a lot. thanks for your help, I really appreciate it > >> >> > >> >> > Hi all, > >> >> > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with > >>increased > >> > >> >>probiotics. Guest guest
What else besides GFE is good you treating yeast? Guest guest
We've had success w increasing biotin and using emulsified oil of oregano. > > > > >> > > > > >> > Hi all, > > > > >> > I started my 9 yr old son on GSE about 1 1/2 weeks ago along with > > > >increased > > > > > > > > >>probiotics. Try giving him another one, at a different time of the day. See if that helps. There have been times when I gave my son 4 tablets 3x per day, but I worked up to it to be sure he tolerated that much and he needed that much.
