Another heavy metal! I wouldn't use the colloidal silver--the H202 sounds

like a safer bet.

CONJUNCTIVITIS (Pink Eye)

Patient Information

What is Conjunctivitis?

Conjunctivitis, better known as Pink Eye, is an infection of the inside of your eyelid. It is usually caused by allergies, bacteria, viruses, or chemicals.

What are the signs and symptoms?

Red, irritated eye.

Some burning and/or scratchy feeling.

There may be a purulent (pus) or a mucous type discharge. How is it treated?

It depends on what caused the Pink Eye. It may or may not need medication for treatment. If medication is given, follow the directions on the label.

What else do I need to know?

To prevent the spread of the infection:

Wash hands throughly

Before you use the medicine in your eyes.

After using the medicine in your eyes.

Everytime you touch your eyes or face.

Wash any clothing touched by infected eyes.

Clothes

Towels

Pillowcases

Do not share make-up. If the infection is caused by bacteria or a virus you must throw away your used make-up and buy new make-up.

Do not touch the infected eye because the infection will spread to the good eye.

IMPORTANT!!!

Pink Eye Spreads Very Easily!

Hi Donna,

You know, I was wondering why the doc only said the one eye only? It

never had ocurred in asking during the docs visit. So far I'm just

cleansing his eye with lukewarm water and then applying the eye drops

and boy its a battle. I also tried the bribery of his favorite snack,

video and then he'll cooperate in trying to look up but once I get

near, beware. He starts to rub it off. I'm wondering if its just an

allergy reaction, as its lingering with his one eye only, so now I'm

giving him Bendryl as one of our e-buddies have suggested, why not,

it'll never hurt as maybe it'll give him some relief. I'm also going

to try to have him schedule by his eye specialist so that maybe she

could prescribe some type of tinted eyewear as his eyes have been

very sensitive to light. Oh! Then we ran out of liquid hand soap

which he only likes using for his handwashing. But, when his dad is

out and about traveling he brings those tiny bar soap, so now I see

where they come in handy as I can toss them away. Gee, what a roller-

coaster ride when our kids are going through some issues. Thanks for

the info from your SIL, interesting.

I don't have a copy of ER4YT, but I think I remember it said that the

juice from a fresh cut tomato worked great to cure pink eye.

I have used a spray/mist bottle with CS on the face and eyes. You may also

use a warm cloth soaked in CS as a compress on the affected eye. I've never

used CS drops in the eyes or used CS as an eyewash but do not believe it

would do any harm and wouldn't have a problem trying it. I've just always

used a spray bottle.

Woke up this morning and could not see.

My eyes are glued shut with some yellow something.

I cleaned it with saline solution but seems to be infected.

Can I use C/S on the eyes?

Does anyone know?

Or what else is recommended?

I never paid attention to pink eye because usually kids have this and I

don't

have any:-))

Thank you kindly

Hi Christel,

Yes, CS can be put in/on the eye. I've done it multipy times. Have

you been sick with something else? Lately I get pink eye whenever I

get a flu like bug. I've also been told ear insufflation will help.

If it's bacterial those should help. If it's viral, I've resorted to

some drops by Bausch & Lomb for eye allergy relief called Opcon-A.

Sometimes (probably allergy related) my pink eye will last 2-3

months. :( Another thing is if you wear makeup, don't. Wash the

eyes out often through out the day along with the CS. I would soak a

cotton ball with the CS mixture and squeeze the ball letting the CS

drop into my eyelid. When it clears up, don't go back to old make up

or you will be reinfected. If you want to return to wearing it, it

will have to be all new stuff.

Does it matter what ppm the C/S is?

Oh my goodness---yes, put the CS in the eye! If you have a dropper or small

squeeze bottle, so much the better. Warm about an oz of the CS and dissolve

1/4 tsp of MSM powder in it. Then put the mixture in the bottle and treat

frequently.

This is a time to increase your intake of Vit A, not beta carotene, as it

will directly help the eye as well as all mucous membranes in the body.

I vaguely remember having pink eye as a child and I think I recall the old

medicine used---Argyrol? The first part of that word suggests *silver*,

though I'm really not sure.

I'm pretty sure this condition doesn't last too long, thankfully.

Good luck with it

I don't think so, Christel. Mine is homemade also, with the guideline that

it produces roughly 10 ppm. For this short term usage, almost anything is

good, though I'm nervous over drinking very high ppm for any length of time.

My primary use of this little 'brew' is as a nasal spray, then I put a few

drops in my eyes as a preventive. I'll frequently put some drops in my ears

as well. You might want to consider putting some of this in your ears and

nasal passages at the same time. This way you'd be covering all the

connecting areas; hitting it from all sides, so to speak.

Best thing in the *world* for your eyes is Dr. Schulzes eyewash...

The only caveat is, you have to be willing to take a little stinging,

because it has cayenne pepper in it. That said, it is claimed to

completely heal cataracts and pretty much any other kind of eye problem

short of a physical deformity/damage (and can even help with these).

But, it *definitely* will quickly eliminate any/all infections like pink

eye very quickly.

The eyes feel *incredible* after a wash - you just have to be careful

not to open them for the first few minutes, or they burn like crazy

(when contacting air).

Dear ,

Is the eyewash sold as a product?

Do you have a website?

Or is it a recipe in a book? If so, do you know which one?

Thanks!

Yes to both...

www.800herbdoc.com

This is the official site that sells formulas made according to his

specifications.

> Or is it a recipe in a book? If so, do you know which one?

His recipes are also freely available - and he even strongly recommends

that you learn how to make them yourself, but the products available

from the website are the highest quality, and it is a lot of trouble to

make them yourself.

Hi Christel,

I have done several MC before. I have managed a couple to 10 days but

then did several 5 day fasts after that to maintain. I just finished a

10 day cleanse last week. The true Master Cleanse does not use spyllium

or bentonite. It is just the lemonade during the day with a salt water

flush in the morning and laxative tea at night. The lemonade is very

good at not making you feel hungry as there is not limits as to how much

you have. Once you are past the initial 2-3 day detox most everyone

feels so much more energy and most aches and pains go away. This has

been true for all my cleanses. I also incorporate liver cleanses at the

start and finish of my 10 day fasts and at the end of my short fasts. I

have lost alot of weight as well by doing this routine and they say I

look 10 years younger now. I have been doing this routine since July 1

of last summer. I , by the way, do not have a gallbladder but it is

the same routine as if you do have one with the liver cleanses.

I would go to the support group on as there are people starting a

cleanse almost every day. I might be able to find the instructions, but

the book should be at your local healthfood store for 5-6 dollars.

The best therapy you can use for conjunctivitis is breastmilk. It is a

natural antibiotic and will clear it quickly. Are you breastfeeding?

Are you still breastfeeding or do you know someone who is? A few

drops of breastmilk in the affected eye will clear it up in a day or

two.

Please don't suppress anything with antibiotics unless life saving emergency

Breastmilk is great

Also homeopathic treatment would get at the root of it all.
